To keep his steps up, Oz sometimes skipped his private parking spot. Instead, he parked half a mile away in a more mundane lot. The fresh air did him good. It also helped him clear out the cobwebs from whatever last meeting he’d been involved with. Not that he ever really stopped working. Guy made business plans in his sleep.[break][break]

A pen was almost always tucked behind his ear—usually a stylus. A high-end stylus was his diversion during the excruciating walk from the high-rise to the designer strip mall he’d left his car in. Honestly, it seemed a miracle he made it that far. Baby blues rarely looked up from his tablet as he made the trek. Ozni’s focus was so intense, onlookers might think he was looking at launch codes. “Huh.” He turned briefly to the Gholdengo at his side. “You didn’t tell me it was Maxxie’s birthday.” He tapped his screen before swiping the email aside. “We need to get cupcakes.” A pause followed as he rolled through a list of allergens. “Vegan, gluten-free ones.” [break][break][break][break]

Chip’s metal face was flexible enough to show disgust. Something Oz sensed—even if he’d turned his attention back to his endless email parade. “They’re not that bad, Dale. Don’t be so melodramatic.” It wasn’t like he bought cheap stuff. Heck, he had a hard time shopping anywhere that couldn’t break a hundred. The ghost-type huffed, waving a sausage arm as if wasting away a gnarly scent.[break][break]

“Ugh. Another CFO meeting? Guy might as well move into my office.” As they neared a crosswalk, the ghost-type reached out to steady his elbow, stopping his trainer from walking in front of a delivery type. Only after the way cleared did Chippendale release the guy. Seemingly nonplussed by a brush with death, the technology junkie continued as the busy walkway gave way to a park.[break][break]

Again, the duo stopped. Chippendale's arm wrapped around Oz's elbow. “DENGO!” He called, moving to grab Oz’s head and turn it toward whatever caught his eye.

Ghost was all fresh and ready to go to work. It was him and his new fire type and a fighting type. But what he needed really was to start gathering Pokemon for his ranger team.
This lead him to look for certain types of Pokemon and right now he was looking for the egg Pokemon Chansey or any of her line forms. Best it would be a bug type but he would not know which one until he finds it. But it is aiming for a ButterFree.

Its ability to have poison power sleep power and stun spore will indeed come in handy.
As he took his hat he would hold on to it. As the wind blew. With a smile on his face, he was all set to begin the CHASE.

He spotted Ghost. [break][break]

His face split wide in a trademark Adebayo grin. Just like that, he forgot about his car. This guy seemed cool. And, the CEO never missed a chance to meet awesome people. Hobo? Vagrant? Ambassador? Sign him up! “Dude!” He jogged toward the ranger. One hand—smelling strongly of cherry blossom hand sanitizer—waved excitedly. “I love that hat.” For emphasis, he pointed at it. “Makes you look like a tequila farmer.”[break][break]

Ozni didn’t think he could pull off a hat like that. But this guy would make that straw mess look rugged. “You pick that up around here?” Not super huge on running, the CEO’s breath escaped in excited puffs. He’d jaywalked on his way over, leaving Chippendale bouncing impatiently from foot to foot at the corner. Only after the light turned did the ghost-type approach, each step sounding like the jangling of a coin purse.[break][break]

An elbow from his B.F.F. drew blue eyes toward a nearby gutter. “Huh.” He murmured to himself. A pianist’s finger unfurled to point at the green-eyed nearby Durant nearby. “I’ve never seen one that color.” It looked kind of rusty. Too long out in the rain or something? “It looks dope though.”[break][break]

Above them, seemingly debating dive-bombing the insect, a Rufflett circled. Its shadow occasionally drew lines up Chippendale’s steely frame.

Ghost would be all smiles as he held his Pokeball in his hand. He knew he had to catch a team of Pokemon based on his ranger team dream list.
But he was a bit on the late side. When it came to already having one. Soon enough as he had his sights on the steel buy type. He would look up to see someone new. Ghost would give a smile as he held on to his hat. As the man gave him a compliment about his hat. Ghost would then say to him.

"Sorry, but this is an exclusive hat. Only I have it because there is only one in the world. Now excuse me for a moment I need to try and catch this thing."

Soon he would throw his Pokeball and out came Maixe his Steelix. Ghost would look on as he gave a smile as the steel Pokemon towered over the bug type. Soon Maixe would use Rage to attack the Durant catching the little guy off-guard.

Soon Ghost would throw a premier ball at it with hopes on catching it.

By the time Ghost spoke, Oz was already planning a straw hat photoshoot. It’d make for a kickass summer campaign. And, if he went barefoot, he could even pull off a yokel look. But the other man decided to just smash his poor heart to pieces. “Awww.” He pushed out his bottom lip, resembling a pouting pug. “Way to be a buzzkill, dude.” Now, he could always buy his own chapeau, but it wouldn’t be this guy’s hat.[break][break]

Before he could whine more, the ranger brushed him aside in favor of an ant. With a stunned blink, Oz stepped out of the way. Confusion colored his words. “Sure, man. You do you.” He was used to people asking for advice and autographs. But being ignored? What a weird sensation. He wasn’t sure if it made him like Ghost more or less.[break][break]

This ponderance ended as the Steelix took the field. A whistle tore past Oz’s lips as she expanded to her full size. Blue eyes paused at her eyes, noting the long lashes. “Somebody’s a thicc girl.” Though he didn’t this fight seemed fair, the CEO didn’t turn away. This marooned sailor guy seemed like the reckless type, and that meant watching him battle would be fun. Then, of course, there was the fact that he wanted to see how hard it was to crush a Durant.[break][break]

The Rage went off without a hitch. Oz and his walking buddy offered up a series of golf claps. “Nice job! Any idea what you want to call it?” Oz would name it Duck. Just to be a rebel about it. It’d be fun to see people’s face when a bug came out instead of a bird.

That and he’d have to duck if someone threw a giant metal ant at him.
