zain was born in petalburg city. his mother originally hailed from alola, though she came to hoenn for school and met his father. they decided to settle in hoenn and begin a family after grueling years of masters and doctoral programs.[break][break]

it was assumed from a young age that zain would follow in his family's footsteps and become a clinician in their family clinic. however, when he announced he wanted to pursue psychology, he was met with resounding protest from his family. he was steadfast in his word, attending hoenn university to obtain his degree in psychology before obtaining his doctorate in galar.[break][break]

he minored in medical art, and his understanding of human anatomy is that of an experienced professional. many knew him in school as GIDEON GRAVES's roommate, or vice versa, always tagging along or attaching himself to his friend when he had the chance to.[break][break]

now, he works at a well-known clinic where he practices therapy along with other clinicians in hoenn, though his money is not always saved due to his frivolous behaviors. whereas he keeps a serious demeanor at work, zain's personality to the outside world is carefree and fun. the riches and behaviors of the world are his to appreciate and savor.[break][break]

zain is selfless in his work, but in his own nature, he is a selfish person at heart. he is a giving and caring person to those he cares about, but his thoughts about the world and happiness are one of pleasing yourself rather than others.
