Mei had never been to Galar, but she had to admit, this RENAISSANCE FAIRE had done a remarkable job of transforming Route 119 into what Mei supposed was a fairly accurate representation of a medieval Galarian village. So much so, that Mei - in her modern attire - felt somewhat out of place.[break][break]
"Everything looks so authentic!" Mei exclaimed, taking Mila's arm. They were standing in the "village square", surrounded by booths selling reproductions of Galarian-style swords, clothing, jewelry, and various hand-carved wooden knickknacks. The mouth-watering scent of roasting Combusken legs tingled Mei's nostrils. The sounds or archery and axe-throwing could be heard, and distantly - metal ringing against metal: swords against shields?[break][break]
The men and women working the festival were dressed as knights, peasants, and nobility. The velvety, brightly-colored corseted dresses some of the women were wearing caught Mei's eye in particular.[break][break]
"Do you think they sell those?" Mei wondered. "We ought to get some. You'd look so cute."
