After a day's work, Zain Osman found himself in the bars of the lower district, a short distance from his office in upper district, Slateport. There, he laughed and sang with the masses, laughing endlessly as drink after drink was tipped down his throat.[break][break]

Thank Arceus it was Friday. He could only imagine the hangover he'd have the next day, not to mention how it would effect him at world.[break][break]

However, as their drinking endeavor came to a close, Zain found himself particularly lonesome. He didn't have a partner for the night, which meant he had one of two options to pick from. He could either go home.[break][break]

Or his ABRA could take him somewhere else. That sounded like an even better idea to him.[break][break]

"Alright! Let's go to GIDEON GRAVES's and pay him a visit." With a quick swoosh, Zain and the ABRA disappeared from the bar, only to show up at the door of Gideon's apartment.[break][break]

Catching his balance, Zain went up to the door, banging on it rather loudly. "Gideon! Hey! Open up!" he said rather loudly, his voice vibrating as he practically sang for his former roommate to let him in.

Who the hell was pounding and yelling outside his apartment at such a late hour (in reality it was like 11 PM)??[break][break]

GIDEON GRAVES groggily strode through his small living room and, upon opening his door, he found...[break][break]

"... Zain? What the hell? Is that really you?" It had been ages since he'd seen his old roommate in-person, although they'd recently been texting one another about Zain Osman's move to Slateport.[break][break]

Gideon blinked once, twice, trying to force himself to be more alert. If Zain were to look, he'd notice his friend's hair was unkempt, as if he'd just gotten out of bed, and slipping down the bridge of his nose was a pair of square-rimmed glasses that were rarely see nowadays (he preferred contacts). [break][break]

"Ha. You're drunk. Definitely you, then." The smell of liquor on the man's breath was a dead giveaway. [break][break]

"Come on, before the neighbors hear you." He chided, extending on arm for Zain to balance on if he needed to. Whether he did or not, Gideon would guide him to the couch and dump him onto the central cushion.

Luckily for Zain, though perhaps unluckily for GIDEON GRAVES, the door was opened. He could've burst into laughter when he saw the sleepy face of his college roommate. Though sleep was far from the first thought on his mind when he saw him.[break][break]

"Oh, does Gideon have a girl over? Guy? Someone? Did I interrupt?"[break][break]

His persistent questioning would be cut off by his friend offering his arm to let him inside. He gratefully took it, wobbling inside of the apartment. Once he was able to, he broke away, going to crash down on his couch.[break][break]

"Man. What's up, buddy? You been doing anything important lately?" Zain cooed.
