As Paxton keeps his eyes peeled for the golden birds, Joules is still. So still despite its place mid air, that it seems to become part of the landscape. As Joules floats, Paxton moves along allowing stillness to engulf his partner. Eventually, a Rookidee lands on the steel types head, and began preening. Joules' eyes snap upwards, before back at Paxton. They let out a single beep to get his attention. The blonde turns, stares at Joules and the bird before slowly reaching for a pokeball. As he does, Joules sparks with electricity, shocking the little bird as Paxton throws his first safari ball, rushing with another in case he missed.

The next pokemon isn't caught so easily. In fact, it's not even caught at all. The little Axew seemed unaware of them or its general surroundings, padding forward excitedly with a large sitrus berry in its hand, going on some errand for itself. Paxton stopped in his tracks to watch before nodding over at his partner as they moved on.

As the pair move forward, making their way deeper and deeper into the forest area set up for hunting, a golden Nincada buzzes idly form a tree branch, staring down at the pair. Briefly, the too look up at the bug type before carrying on deciding to keep hunting.

Joules follows Paxton as the trainer walked about trying to find their next catch. Out of the blue, a blur of brown runs forth and slams their leek on the Magnezone, slamming the dual type into the ground. Paxton turns as Joules lets off a ZAP CANON against the bird, stunning it for now. Joules beeped, alert and in pain before blasting the bird a second time as it began trying to take another step towards them. The fighting type went flying, skidding across the ground before Paxton took out a pokeball to catch it.

Surprisingly, that's not the last time Paxton is targeted. As soon as the previous threat is dispatched, another comes through. In the shadows, a shiny Honedge locks onto the pinkette and attempts to repel Paxton with NIGHT SLASH. Joules sees it as Paxton's back is to the ghost type. The Magnezone floated quickly, flashing a PROTECT to bounced the living sword off. AS the sword pokemon spins midair and tries to stabilize itself enough to attack again, Joules uses MIRROR COAT as it comes back again with NIGHT SLASH. The move bounces back on itself forcing the blade to fall to the ground. Paxton then takes this opportunity to toss a safari ball and capture the twitching steel type.

Joules had been taking a battering. Perhaps due to intruding on the Safari mons territory. Either way, Paxton manages to see a little pink blur coming for his partner. "Joules, move right!" he ordered as the little Tinkaton came down and smashed into the grounds with a little grunt. Dirt is shot up into the air before Paxton takes cover and Joules, having had enough, DISCHARGES a massive amount of electricity at the little pokemon. The Tinkaton is dazed and Paxton peeks out from behind a tree before tossing his last Safari ball at it. "Good work Joules...you ok?" The Magnezone beeps, closing their eyes and coming over to Paxton, exhausted. "C'mon Joules...lets go."
