THE BORDER IS A MOUNTAINOUS PURGATORY OF MUTED SEPIA SMOKE. By floating islands, translucent bridges soar through the realm toward the heavens. Tall stone spires jut out from the spiritual mist. In the sky, the wisps of spirits can be seen heading toward their final destination before the afterlife...[break][break]

Curiously, there are four broken seals embedded in four mountains. Though Adrian Malcolm and YVELTAL may have seen their location upon their unceremonious entry, the spirit realm has shifted since their last visit, rendering each broken seal far apart from each other.

Hearing about something and then actually experiencing it were two completely different things. The strange way the world seemed to be fragmented and lifted high above the clouds was jarring to the human mind, it was almost as if they were thrown into a fantasy world, disconnected from the Heonn she knew and grew up in. so much so she was even beginning to doubt the compass she brought, the report given to them said they needed to investigate the broken seal to the east.. but will east really be east?

[break][break]When Naia figured out the cast that would be coming with them she didn't recognize any name.. expect for one. had every sign indicating that she was from Rocket, being at the casino should have been the biggest flag, her connections mannerisms, but still Naia didn't think she was. Even more so Mira was slowly becoming a source of anxiety, a sole witness to the fact that Naia had been betraying Rocket by their standards.

[break][break]"U-um.. Has.. anyone even been in here before?"

[break][break]She waited for people to reply, hoping maybe they could come up with some sort of plan, or understanding on how to tackle stuff next. But if it had been quiet for too long, or once people had finished answering her question she'd pipe up with another.

[break][break]"I-ah.. I don't know if this is reliable.. but I brought a compass. We can always just head east from there.. They mentioned uh.. waterfall so we can just follow bodies of.. water too.."

[break][break]The nervousness in her voice was evident and even more so, she was purposefully keeping Mira out of her sight as she spoke. Between the ends of her stuttering and slow speech, Naia was gunna stop there, but then remembered she hadn't introduce herself yet.

Well then. Naia Kayode was thing her ex. Talk about a find! She didn't know or connect the dots but now it all made since. Mirabella like keeping her friends close and her enemies closer. Naia was somewhere in between very fine line. The red haired hadn't been this annoyed since she saw Jack with someone other girls. She before leaping into the portal and appearing in this new land. Sadly the only person here right now was Naia.  She seemed scared and she every right to be. What would happen if she sent disappeared and were stuck in her. Mirabella was distance from grim and tempting thought by the from yeuri. As a ghost type. he would sense thing more acute than the average pokemon. She barely listened to whatever the woman said. In the past she had visited the beautiful yet haunting Mechanical Kingdom, aiming to find inspiration for her next novel. And this visit to the Border was no different. Though of course Rocket had a rather vested interest in exploring this place, and she was all too eager to oblige.

By the time she walked through the portal alongside her Pokemon and reached the meeting point it seemed two women had already arrived. Neither face seemed familiar to her. Luckily at least one of them felt inclined to introduce themselves.

Cathrine took a moment to take in the sight of Naia. She seemed a bit nervous. Cathrine couldn’t help but wonder why. Did Naia perhaps have some history with the other woman? Who knows.

“A pleasure to meet both of you. You may call me Cathrine.” She gave a small polite bow of introduction, which was mimicked by the robotic doll that walked by her side. It ever so curiously gazed at the whole group.

Guinevere was the last to arrive from the group. Normally she'd be on time but today she had plenty to get ready before taking a deep dive into the rifts. Currently disguised as ' The Monarchtm ' it was only right that she do her research before showing up. The briefing they had received was too barebones. Honestly, it could hardly be called a briefing of anything.[break][break]

Luckily for her, Rocket had reports from other agents that went into these rifts in their database so it was easy pickings for Gwyn after that. She continued to surf the database all night and ended up slightly oversleeping past her alarm. Luckily for her, her ever responsible butler, Chai the Sinistea, was reliable and woke her up in time.[break][break]

Once she had gathered her bearings and adjusted to the sights before her, she made her way towards the meeting place. As expected, she was the last to arrive. Three other women were there and seemed to be discussing something, but as she drew near she began to pick up on some things that made her quickly uncomfortable. [break][break]

For starters one of the women looked as if she was ready to burst into tears, while another swiftly brushed her aside and admonished her. Perhaps they knew each other, but bickering at the start wasn't a good sign for this mission. And if they couldn't keep their emotions in check it would spell failure for them all. [break][break]

The Monarch didn't do failures.[break][break]

Still, all hope wasn't lost. Some introduced themselves and Gwyn decided to do the same. "You can call me Monarch." a raspy voice with a mechanical twang responded before she took out her Rotom phone. As expected there was no service here, but she didn't need service for what she was pulling up. On her phone she had all the notes she had taken from all the information she surfed through the night prior. "According to some reports from other's that have ventured into this realm, a good way to reach the seals would be via the gimmighoul ferryman, so I suggest keeping your eyes peeled for that."[break][break]

With that, Gwyn was off on her own, not waiting for permission to begin her search from the other's. If they managed to split up their search would be quicker, as long as they didn't stray too far from one another. Because of the information she'd consumed Gwyn knew it would be faster to look on her on than wait for someone else, so it wasn't a surprise when she was the one that found the ferryman first. [break][break]

After alerting the girls that she'd found their target she reached in her bag for the golden coins she'd prepared as service fare for the ferryman. She quickly paid for all of them to board before nodding to the boat. "This is us. Should take us right where we need to go." was all she said before she boarded the boat herself, expecting the other women to follow suit.
