Today... Magnus had been a little finicky. He'd left his phone back at the hideout in Mauville, because you know, fuck it. Why bother? He didn't need a distraction today from Stacy, or Giftshop Girl, or Ass Man, or the other suitors who he saw. No no, today...[break][break]

Today he went to the beach of Slateport with his sunglasses, and the tightest swimming trunks that greatly accentuated his body in good ways, because today, he was here on a date.[break][break]

Maggie, on a date? While dating Juliet Yearwood, and seeing mint frost, and Leilani Ka’uhane, and hell, even Mirabella Fontaine? Yes. Yes, today he had agreed to a small date.[break][break]

It wasn't anything special. Turns out, you can get anything you want when you're pleasing Jack Magnus, and it just turned out that he had been invited by a woman he enjoyed, and so he would set up the chair and the parasol, the towel, the cooler, everything. He cracked a cold brew on the beach, as he waited.[break][break]

Magnus could probably only see her brows move and perhaps the outline of her brows as she rolled her eyes at him. "Did you hear a single thing I just said?"[break][break]

She took a sip of two of her daquiri before asking Hellebore to create a small BLIZZARD over her drink to keep it from melting.

"Damn right I did. Think I got the hang of it too. Some rum, some lime juice, some strawberries and sugar? Oh yeah." He doesn't realize at all how sweet it is to learn how to make fruity drinks for a woman he fancied. At least, it doesn't yet. But the fact of the matter was, he had been up last night, trying to get it right.[break][break]

Turns out, mixing drinks was harder than he first thought it was. There was a methodology to it. Can't just pour in whatever amounts, gotta go a little here, a little there. To a point where Magnus got interested enough, he damn near made himself tipsy off of drinking a number of 'em.[break][break]

And the one in Jasmine's hand was certainly not the greatest in the world. But he made it. That's what made it special.[break][break]

Jasmine was amazed to hear that he had spent the time to learn how to make it. While the drink wasn't the best... it was mediocre at that — it was still decent. She would still drink it.[break][break]

Sitting up, after a quick readjustment, Jazz turned around to face him. All her previous frustration and anger about him not bringing another chair or two towels was gone. She felt this weird feeling in her chest as she stared at him.[break][break]

Jazz crawled into his lap, straddling his hips as she came to rest her arms around his shoulders. She tilted her head up, meeting his golden gaze with her green one before kissing him. She'd taste like the strawberry drink he made.[break][break]
