For a split second, there was a bit of guilt blooming in the pit of her stomach. But, she decided he deserved it. At least for a little while. Magnus could survive without sex for a few minutes.[break][break]

Jasmine waded deeper into the water, the soothing coolness reaching her hips. Her gaze was set on the horizon, where the sun was slowly dipping lower into the sky. Though, she could hear him wading into the water after her.[break][break]

Jack Magnus always seemed to follow Jazz around. To a degree, that's a kind of loyalty in how he sees his partners. Loyalty like a dog to a person is so hard to find, but he follows her into the water. With the dipping sun past the horizon, she looked.[break][break]

She looked great. Amazing, even. He would find himself staring, rubbing his neck. It's annoying how the list of women who could break him could be counted at all.[break][break]

Was she blushing? He couldn't tell, with the lighting the way it was. But as he gets behind her, he wants to... that is to say, he... he gets cold feet. Because there's nothing he can do here. Magnus at least appeared to be apologetic. And Jasmine couldn't deny that she wanted him.[break][break]

She sighed, almost like she was defeated, as she decided to wade closer to him. Her head craned upward to meet his gaze, the same color as the sun setting behind them. Fiercely yellow, golden.[break][break]

Truth is. Magnus isn't the type to say loving statements. He never is, but it's almost like the longer Orthrus runs, the more that changes. But he can't give her hopes up. How can he do that? Jasmine closed her eyes as he leaned down, waiting for his lips to meet hers. And when they did, a small sigh left her. She knew she was weak to Jack Magnus. He could do the worst thing in the world, and still, she'd find herself in his arms the next day.[break][break]
