Hoenn was weird as fuck. [break][break]

Like, ever since she'd gotten here strange things had been happening nonstop. Then again, this was the very region that was threatened with annihilation not too long ago, so what should she expect? Either way, Rocket had sent her to cause a commotion in the area to distract eyes from Rocket's true intentions which were securing a new smuggling route.[break][break]

So what did she do? She let louse a swarm of poison types on Route 117 and let them wreck havoc to their hearts content while she observed from a hidden location. A mediocre job for someone of her esteemed talents. But she wouldn't complain because in the end Rocket would be helping her out. So if she had to babysit some pokemon in forest then so be it. [break][break]

Gwyn watched as weezing and gastly and other poison pokemon roamed the areas spraying their acid where they pleased. Nearby a gastly was terrorizing a hoppip using its POISON GAS to infect the poor grass type with poison and wilt the flora and fauna around the area. "Mischievous little fuckers." Gwyn muttered under her breath. As her voice filtered through her mask it was changed to something more robotic and grungier than her normal bell like melodic voice.

Hoenn has been cool as fuck.

[break][break]When he first came to Hoenn he was fully expecting to live off the lands, beg on the streets or worse... become a barista, but how fortunate he was that he could avoid all of that because of one angel of the hounds. Though Hoenn didn't come without it's difficulties, it was alarming to see how many people he knew from Kalos made their way over here and with that their nagging. One redhead came to mind, and it was only time before his flirting and averting was going to ware off.

[break][break]He was sure the flowers would buy him another week or two at most.

[break][break]So like any gentlemen, when he caught a glimpse of a scarlet strand of hers; he suddenly was reminded that he had an appointment to attend to, and faster before anyone could refute it, he was already on his doublade and out the door. If anything this was better time than ever to take another one of those thrill rides around Heonn, maybe discover something new and exciting.

[break][break]However as he was crossing Verdanturf Town and towards Route 117 his eyes caught something rather strange, puffs of eerie clouds bellowing out from the trees. As he zipped down he quickly learned from the slightest inhale that this smoke wasn't some sort of magical forest fire but Poison Gas, and quickly he'd pull his shirt up to cover his mouth to dive in deeper to investigate. There he found he found a swarm of Pokémon, poison ones to boot, and worse of all it seemed that there was a lady he was trapped amongst them all.

[break][break]He'd call out towards her, his voice muffled by his clothing and his eyes stinging from all the smoke.

Gwyn had been too relaxed. There wasn't much to worry about. She just needed to cause a scene long enough that she would attract the attention of rangers or other League personnel so Rocket could secure this new smuggling route. Meanwhile she had to say she was doing a good job. [break][break]

The mask she had served to block the poisonous fumes for her, in addition to hiding her face and identity with it's voice modulation features. However, while she had been relaxing someone had managed to sneak up on her without her noticing. A rookie mistake if she was being honest.

"Hey, are you 'kay?!" Gwyn's soul nearly leapt from her body as she quickly jumped to her feet and whipped around. "Who the fuck are you?!" a raspy mechanical smokey voice growled. "I can help get ya 'ut and we can get 'ze Rangers. Are you by yourself?" Gwyn's eyes slowly narrowed as she quickly put the pieces together. "I see." she said as she reached for a pokeball on her hip.[break][break]

"Then I'll have to ask you to leave." she said as she released her pokeball into the mist. "The babies here are playing and they don't like being disturbed." she said. Just as the words left her lips her a fellow 'rental', Skuntank from Rocket appeared and offered assistance. It launched a frontal assault with POISON JAB. If it landed it's ability STENCH would cause the strangers doublade to flinch. Meanwhile, Gwyn's Misdreavus that had went into hiding within the gas earlier, fired a PSYBEAM at the strangers back.

[break][break]It either meant one of two things, one she was super disoriented and distrusting of people, so even whilst someone was out here to help she won't come off as appreciative or--

[break][break]She's exactly what Abner keeps warning him about. Seeing her reach for a pokeball during this time and tossing one out into the forest caused for her to reach into his back pocket for his own, his free hand pulling his shirt a bit higher to secure it's position. The worse part is that he hadn't completely landed yet and it seemed that one of her-- what did she call them again? Oh right, Babies.

[break][break]He kept his words short but stern, the last thing he needed to do was inhale more of these toxic fumes than needed. Just as he tossed out his Aegislash, the second blade from his doublade would take the impact of the Skuntank's POISON JAB. It was a miscalculation on his part, as when the damaged blade would flinch the connection between the two of them would falter for that moment, causing them to drop towards the ground quickly.

[break][break]Perhaps it was just his luck, that his Aegislash choose to stick by his side, originally activating KING'S SHIELD to protect its owner from the fall however the previously called Misdreavus blast would instead hit his shield shattering it in its place.

[break][break]"'Ze fuck?"

[break][break]Sure he was used to having attacks at his life before, however he can't say he had them ever done so in the middle of a gas chamber forest. The land on the ground was hard, once he landed he couldn't help but inhale sharply. The burning sensation of the smoke even through cloth was enough to make him want to cough, but a hand would shoot to his mouth to hold it in to the best of his ability.

[break][break]It was the moment his double blades recovered from their flinch did they launch a counter attack at the Skuntank with Scared Sword, a hand reaching up to grip onto the hilt of his Aegislash, as a signal to keep it by his side and look out for her Misdreavus other attacks. The worse thing he could do would be to separate from his Pokémon while she she could have more in hiding.

Her rented Skuntank ate the SACRED SWORDS with a sharp yelp. Cold azure eyes shifted over towards the skunk. She found herself more apathetic towards pokémon that weren't here own. If it wasn't competent enough it would be replaced. After all it was just fodder for her anyway. With an audible sigh she turned her attention back on the stranger. [break][break]

"Last warning." She said with a dangerous glint in her eyes. "You look a little lost. A long way from home. I suggest you leave. Before I get mean." A sharp gaze shifted towards the skunk once again. "Atticus, pull yourself together." The skunk pulled itself to it's feet. Realizing quickly that it wouldn't be getting an easy way out of this. [break][break]

With a huff the Skuntank launched a NIGHT SLASH at the man who remained in Gwyn's presence despite the warning. Gwyn herself flicked her Onyx colored hair over her shoulder before a glint appeared in the gas. The doublades that had been hit with poison earlier were the prefect target for her Misdreavus. Still within the smokescreen covering her personal pokémon fired a HEX at the unsuspecting pokémon.

[break][break]Okay dope, sounds like a fucking plan, but from how quickly she turned onto him he highly doubted she was just going to let him leave like that. That much was apparent when she barked at Atticus and it forced itself on its feet and attacked on the same breath. Whilst typically he would have been find taking the other hit, he didn't consider a combo attack. It was the moment his doublades dropped to the ground that he knew they were out for the count, and having them stay in the poisonous gas wasn't going to do anyone any good.

[break][break]He cut himself off with a cough, at this point his fingers were tingling, he was head lighted, but most of all, his adrenaline was pumping. After his doublades were recalled with his grip still on his Aegislash he'd swung it over towards his attacker, it using the momentum to layer on Power Trick. Hoping that the extra defense may keep it alive but also lower it's attack to not do too much damage since his goal was to distract her and run.

He was still sticking around. The hell was wrong with this guy? It didn't give off the vibe that he was a ranger or anything so what was this guys deal? Then again, she was the one that was attacking him. "I warned you." hissed. Gwyn made her Skuntank tank the hit from the Aegislash. Having already taken damage it was expected that he would faint. [break][break]

A Nidoran that she borrowed from Rocket was swift to take his place. A POISON STING aimed right for the Aegislash, meanwhile she lundges for the man himself. She might be a hacker but she was no bitch. She had been trained in hand to hand combat, often sparring with her cousin, @cedric when they were younger. She slammed her fist hard into his gut while her Misdreavus fired a CONFUSE RAY to backup the Nidoran fighting the Aegislash.[break][break]

Knocking the wind out of her target wasn't a tricky task. The next issue was the amount of poison gas he was inhaling. While it wasn't lethal right away, inhaling copious amounts would result in side effects or symptoms similar to what one might experience from Monkshood or Wolfsbane poisoning. [break][break]

"Go home. You don't belong here." she whispered in his ear as she propped him up as he was doubled over in pain. She wasn't trying to kill someone today, this wasn't that type of mission. But this man was ill equipped to handle her today. If anyone else from Rocket were to appear then he'd be in trouble. She was practically doing him a favor by being so harsh in trying to kick him out of the forest.

Was he sluggish? Just as he threw his Pokémon his mind wanted him to turn tail and run but the wobble in his legs and the blurred vision was starting to get to his head. It wasn't until a sea of blue was right in front of his eyes, and a painful impact to his gut. He barely noticed the other two Pokémon fighting each other, and even if he was in the right mind the way his eyes watered up from the pain and gas wasn't helping much here.

[break][break]He could take the pain, but what he couldn't take was that gasp for air afterwards, his lungs were already so filled up with the gas that instead of it burning anymore it twisted his insides instead. That mixed with her suddenly forcing him to stand up, sent his world spinning with the worse sense of vertigo he has ever experienced.

[break][break]"Go home. You don't belong here."

[break][break]He wasn't in the mood for petty banter, or quick remarks and he especially knew when he should just give it up. If anything he was more than grateful that this lady wasn't going to gut him right there and from the corner of his eye he could see his Aegislash recoiling from the damage.

[break][break]They were both fucked up, but rather than going for a counter attack it would instead would shed a layer of it's blade and with alarming speed blot over towards Mateo. Excalibur was always crazy fast after AUTOMATION, and with a tasseled hand it would scoop up Mateo heading for out of the smoke cloud. At least everyone here hopefully can agree this was the best.

With that, the battle was decided. Gwyn didn't interfere when his Aegislash dove in at lightning speeds to save it's trainer. In fact, she stepped back, allowing the pair to retreat out of the smoke and hopefully far away from her little escapades. And not a moment too soon either. [break][break]

As soon as the two were out of her sight her comms buzzed alive and some grunts let her know that they finished securing the new smuggling route and would be meeting up with her soon. "Took you long enough." Gwyn huffed as she clapped her gloved hands together to gather the attention of all the pokémon she brought with her. [break][break]

"Alright kiddos, you've had your fun. Let's pack it up and get moving." she ordered before she caught movement of a wheezing still trying to play with some of the other pokémon. "Don't make me repeat myself." she growled and they all immediately began to gather. And let the gas dissipate. [break][break]

"Good work Nyx" she purred to her Misdreavus without even turning around to see if she was there. She just sensed her and knew her well enough by now. The little snicker close to her ear alerted Gwyn to where she was as she lifted a gloved hand to pet her little ghost friend. "Let's head home and get something good to eat, hmm?"
