Word of the simulator’s construction and completion had been a subject of conversation for a while, and although it hadn’t caught his interest when the Seal Stone was initially retrieved, he had to admit that he grew more curious about the sort of things it could offer. In the grand scheme of things, he would’ve much, much rather ventured alone, but he figured it was best to have another set of eyes.[break][break]

Yet certain or not, it was a choice he made to extend the invitation, so as the sights conjured before them, he found himself narrowing his eyes towards the prompt posed before them. Hues of amber narrowed within a pensiveness as he absentmindedly rubbed his tongue against the inner side of his cheek, pursing his lips slightly.[break][break]

He only needed to think for a moment or so before breathing a growling sigh of exasperation, rolling his shoulders and turning to the nearest person to him.[break][break]

Summer didn't understand why Cain Toman of all people brought her along with him. She would dare say that he had no friends to pick out for a trip like this. It was amusing, to say the least, as he seemed annoyed enough at her presence.[break][break]

It wasn't her plan to make things go too smoothly.[break][break]

The woman in front of them brought a frown to her face, the contrast of black and white making her seem like a shadow herself. "What is the Hexenzirkel?" Summer began to ask.[break][break]

Although, it appeared she wouldn't get an answer as Cain decided to fight the group instead. With an annoyed huff and a look to match, Summer backed up against him as a few individuals walked closer.[break][break]

A bark of a retort, paired by nothing short of a malevolent grin that danced upon his lips all the while. As the azure haired woman found her way against his back, he had already assumed such a familiar stance while his eyes trailed along the figures and forms that seemed to cast intensified gazes upon them. He watched as they began to step closer at the sight of the battle readiness they were greeted with, but the moment one of them had ventured a step too far, the Rocket had immediately lunged forward to meet him across the distance.[break][break]

They were all digital, yet the feeling of his fist snapping into the jaw of that selfsame person felt as real as ever. His grin broadened as a cackle escaped him.[break][break]

Cain sounded like a maniac as he went full throttle in attacking. Summer, on the other hand, never resorted to violent measures this way. Her way of taking care of business resorted to weaponry, not fists.[break][break]

Unfortunately for her, this simulation didn't have that on her person.[break][break]

She threw a kick forward, attempting to side sweep several of the cult members down as she whirled to face her companion with an annoyed look in her eyes.[break][break]

His voice hit a nasally octave that he, truthfully, thought wasn’t possible for him before it returned to its normal tone— but not without him clearing his throat and clicking his tongue at her. Anything for mockery, really.[break][break]

”That. That’s what ye fuckin’ sound like. Disgustin’.”[break][break]

He watched as the people she’d swept along fall to the ground with a weighted prominence, though only kept his eyes upon them for a short while longer before his attention shifted towards another person that approached him from among the crowd. Though it was difficult to make them out, he moved as soon as a shadow separated from the rest, and after plucking an Unown from the air and outright chucking it into whom he could only assume was its trainer, he wrangled said person before lifting them into the air.[break][break]

He’d barely managed to throw them, face down against the floor, before being blasted by a stray Hidden Power.[break][break]

And just like that, another scene manifested before them: a sea of childish wonder.[break][break]

Immediately, a look of confusion and disdain contorted upon his face as he looked down, furrowing his brows while kicking nearby block away and across the room, sending it careening into a set of plushies afar.[break][break]

”Look, I’m just sayin’— we got places to be, ye, but would it kill ya t’just enjoy yerself while we’re fuckin’ here?” he sighed, peering over at her. ”Like, literally. Just go apeshit. Maybe ye’ll knock more’a that stick outta yer ass ‘n the process.”[break][break]

She didn't speak to him again as the rest of their foes converged forward, UNOWN partnered with them. It was beginning to become harder to fend them off, even with Cain's fighting abilities.[break][break]

Though, a blast of HIDDEN POWER struck her, and she felt herself sucked away.[break][break]

When Summer opened her eyes again, she found herself in a room filled with plushies and toys scattered around her. And, unfortunately, Cain was still with her. She partially hoped he'd be sent away from her.[break][break]

"Go apeshit. Enjoy myself." Summer approached the pile of plushies, snatching one up, before throwing it his way. It bounced off him easily before falling onto the floor. So, she grabbed another. And another. And another.[break][break]

"Fine, I'll go apeshit, Cain. How about a few blocks?"

”Oi, oi, I don’t make fun’a yer stupid ass accent…!” he yelled, laughing as a look of faux offense and apprehension, alike, blossomed upon his expression. His tongue clicked a few times as if driving the sentiment home as he began to turn, looking around. ”’Annoyin’ accent,’ my fuckin’ ass— not everyone in the world sounds like yer basic ass…”[break][break]

His eyes had only managed to catch a passing glimpse amidst their surroundings—and he’d only eyed a stack of blocks for a moment before kicking it over—when the plushies began to hit his back. Immediately, he glared over his shoulder and towards the woman pelting him, all while hues of auburn narrowed and sparked as he turned her way again.[break][break]

He caught one of the stuffed animals before chucking it right back at her, kicking one of the blocks he’d dismounted from its stack towards her simultaneously.[break][break]

”What, blocks?,” he called back, raising his voice with an ever broadening grin. He stepped to the side a smidge more to kick another block at her shins. ”Fine, yeah, ask and ye’ll receive, I guess—”[break][break]
