Stormy was back again, and this time she struggled to politely nod through the instructions and not open her big mouth to please, for the love of god, speak a little faster.[break][break]

She supposed it couldn't be helped, hundreds of random faces probably passed through here. It wasn't unreasonable to forget if people had visited frequently. Or maybe it was a liability thing. There was a pretty high chance of getting hurt out here, especially with this swarm of wild Pokemon.[break][break]

Herds of Blitzle and Mareep wouldn't be nice if they had trampled all over you, would it? [break][break]

With a rumble, Wadjet begs for her trainer's attention, pressing her nose into the back of her shoulder. Stormy lifts a hand idly, shushing her. She nods politely but excessively as the safari guide hands her her pokeballs, repeating for the umpteenth time in ten minutes that she had to come right back here when she ran out of safari balls.[break][break]

"Yes, of course. We'll be back in a flash! Haha.. flash, because there's electric types out this time."[break][break]

Her laughter trails off as it seems apparent the guide didn't get it, or just didn't think she was funny. Shrugging, she gestures for her Charizard to follow her in, and promptly wades waist deep into the grass. She had several Pokemon to hunt today.[break][break]

Stormy's hair begins to stand on end, static electricity causing her split ends to hover. It took her a moment to register what was going on before suddenly, a boomerang of lightning came flying towards her head.[break][break]

It was only due to Wadjet's quick thinking that Stormy wasn't fried on the spot. Her tail swings around, knocking Stormy clean off of her feet. Winded and bruised, she gasps on the ground as the electric boomerang comes flying back to it's handler.[break][break]

Wadjet is not fast enough to dodge the incoming zap of electricity though. For whatever reason, the wild Helioptile was territorial and upset. Static strings along the Charizard's skin. Suddenly, the Pokemon feels a lot less like a fire-type and a lot more like an electric-type.[break][break]

She coughs out pitiful flames, but they don't have the same oomph. While Stormy slowly gets to her feet and dusts herself off, Wadjet is left to square off with the territorial creature who was glaring at the pair of them.[break][break]

"Wow that is one grouchy Pokemon. Wonder who ticked it off so bad."[break][break]

It takes some coercing, but they eventually manage to slip past the solar-powered Helioptile long enough to make a break for it. [break][break]

"Maybe it's a little risky having you tag along, Wadjet. Seeing as you're weak to their electric attackings. Maybe try not to pick a fight."

Wiping the sweat from her brow and hovering in the shaded area just before the open plains, Stormy would gesture to Wadjet, who was still sparking with the Helioptile's electrify.[break][break]

Squinting, she would eventually locate a couple dozen Blitzle wandering in unison. One in particular caught her eye due to the fact it seemed rowdier and much more physical. The grass it was eating seemed to be fueling its energy tenfold, whereas the rest of them appeared to be running rampant.[break][break]

"Wadjet, take advantage of your sparking skin and try to weed out the rammy Blitzle out there. I like it's spirit."[break][break]
Her beast would puff, nodding in affirmation. It turns out, the herd of Blitzle would be just what she needed to break herself out of the electric rash she was having.[break][break]

As she drew closer, sparks would fly off of her skin and be absorbed by the Blitzle. Most of them used this perk of theirs to run, leaving behind the one that Stormy had her eye on. It wasn't as fast due to its lack of motor drive, and Charizard was able to scare it towards Stormy, who's waiting hands were there to not only get zapped a little, bit throw a pokeball at it.[break][break]

"Well done! Teamwork. Alright, let's keep moving, see what else we can find."[break][break]

There's a flash of yellow, streaks of black. It immediately reminds her of a Pikachu's tail, only a lot smaller.[break][break]

"Hey, look over there. I'm pretty sure the advertisement said there's Pichu running around. They're too cute to pass up. I thought I saw one through that bush, let's follow it."[break][break]

Wadjet's great clomping steps made the ground shake just a little bit, especially when the great big dragon tripped over an overgrown root. She groaned, crashing down through the branches of a tree and landing heavily on her chin.[break][break]

Stormy gasps, holding her hands to her mouth in shock at the sight. [break][break]

"I didn't say we had to do it fast, we can slow down a bit, man."[break][break]

The beast huffs, clearly unimpressed, but slowly gets back to her feet to nurse her bruised pride.[break][break]

It seems, however, that Wadjet's tumble had scared off whatever they had been chasing, and it wasn't a Pichu at all. Stormy sighs as she sees that the yellow and black stripes belong to the horns of a Mareep. It's bobbing tail swings back and forth and it bleats in terror, rejoining with the rest of its herd.[break][break]

"Let's keep going, I'm sure we'll find one eventually."[break][break]

Once again, Stormy notices a brief streak of yellow and black, but unlike last time, she isn't quite as quick to respond. She had been bamboozled before, and wasn't stoked to embarrass herself again.[break][break]

Fortunately, Wadjet's impatience and insistence that this time it really was a Pichu propelled Stormy to give chase.[break][break]

The Pichu takes off in a dead sprint, appearing breathless and scared out of it's mind. It keeps looking back over it's shoulder to see if they're still following, only to look back in front of it and slam face first into a tree.[break][break]

Stormy would nonchalantly approach, picking the adorable little thing up and into her arms.[break][break]

"Sweet, that was easy."[break][break]

Pocketing the pokeball with her fresh catch, Stormy would stretch out her back and look around, sucking in a breath and snapping her attention to yet another streak of yellow and black.[break][break]

"Oh my god, this place is chock full of Pichu!"[break][break]

She'd take off at a sprint, attempting to catch up with her next target, only to be royally disappointed in finding that it wasn't a Pichu, but some sort of weird outlet Pokemon. Wrinkling her nose in distaste, she would quickly change directions and shake her head.[break][break]

"Nevermind, just chock full of Pokemon that are just really fond of yellow and black. What a bummer."[break][break]

Running a hand through her hair, she would return to the path, walking in a straight line and hoping another adorable little baby Pikachu would show up.[break][break]

Another small herd of Blitzle would speed past Stormy, their hooves kicking up grass and dirt as they moved quickly across the terrain. Several more seemed to scoot ahead of the rest, borrowing electricity from their neighbours to prance about and show off.[break][break]

Stormy, having already caught one earlier, wasn't interested in catching another. She did crack a smile at the carefreeness that the Blitzle seemed to have. They didn't mind at all that people were wandering around the Safari zone, they were having a blast all by themselves.[break][break]

She would take out her phone then, tilting it to the side to get a landscape framed shot of the herd as they stopped briefly. [break][break]

"They're something, aren't they?"[break][break]

With a clap of her hands, the herd would move on, barely even giving her a second glance. Wadjet would rumble, glancing to and fro as the pair continued walking.[break][break]

Something off-coloured catches her eye. At first, she had totally ignored the small hoard of fuzzy little yellow spiders that had literally taken over a nearby tree. Their creepy crawly bodies and dozen eyes had freaked her out a little bit, but something else had caught her attention.[break][break]

When she turned around, a very oddly-coloured Joltik had popped out of the fray. It's furry body was slightly off-yellow, more green, and its tiny spider legs were purple instead of blue. [break][break]

She glanced at Wadjet, who remained indifferent to the situation. She had grown bored of not being able to pick a fight, and was looking off into the distance.[break][break]

"Alright, grumpy, guess I'll catch him myself."[break][break]

Revealing an empty safari ball in her one hand, and her Talonflame's pokeball in her other, she would toss her fire-type bird Pokemon and point.[break][break]

"Bring me that funny-looking Joltik. But be gentle, I'm not trying to squash it."[break][break]

The big bird would glance between her trainer and the wild Pokemon, looking a little bit less than thrilled. However, she did as she was bid, and after a bit of a tussle, the Talonflame would return covered in spider webs but with the shiny Joltik in hand.[break][break]

Stormy would then throw a pokeball at it and move on.[break][break]
