It feels as if he's experiencing classic milestones of young love, making out in the ferris wheel with their legs tangled together and cheeks flushed. Yet he's glad to have these experiences here and now, knowing that he'd never have appreciated such things in his youth.[break][break]

They'd needed this. Needed each other, to finally begin to heal from their grief.[break][break]

They've been in a dry spell of late. His body responds in kind, fire beneath his skin and thrumming in his heart. He aches with need that can't be satisfied in this cramped car, and settles instead for the comfort of his lover's presence.[break][break]

Lights explode in magnificent shapes and colors. The air sizzles and crackles with life as they fade, leaving only the lingering scent of gunpowder on the wind. Tempest is much too focused on watching his husband's face to properly enjoy the show.[break][break]

Yet, this is what he prefers. To see the way the explosions light up in Cillian Quinn's eyes was it's own treasure.[break][break]

It was the first time in a long time they had felt... right together. Again.[break][break]

There was still a great grief lurking under the surface between them. Yet, in this moment, Tempest know that in time they would overcome it. Together. Stronger.[break][break]
