The Wandering Stormbringer crafted a prison of winds around Aleph, Josh slowly getting to his feet and withdrawing the Type: Null. While the LIFE DEW patched Josh up some, the cuts were deep enough that he would need to be looked at once he returned to Dewford. Pokémon healing could only do so much.

Content to leave with what was already in his pride's saddlebags, Josh groaned as his Pokémon turned tail, keeping pace ahead of the expanding Eternatus core's influence. "Thanks..." Josh weakly replied, waving toward the Gym Leader before his face fell into Aslan's red mane. Sensing his trainer's weakness, the Pyroar kept his running stroke as gentle as he could, though it was still rougher than that of an equine.

Tornadus, for the most part, ushered the trapped synthetic Pokémon forward; the winds wrapping around it like a mummy to make sure they didn’t just suddenly spring out of the vortex and lash out again.

Him, on the other hand, was not-so-subtly trying to avoid looking at the other’s bloodied and battered frame because the sight of so much blood set him on edge… it reminded him of his weakness, after all.

“Let’s get the hell out of here. We got what we came for, now let’s rest and recover,” he hummed quietly as he recalled all his Pokémon except the Wandering Stormbringer, who was now on ‘warden duty’ while herding the Type:Null down and out of the place.
