It was time for him to try his luck with the Tauros Rodeo once again. Sven hopped up onto the mechanical bull and readied himself. With a thumbs up to the operator, the brunette gripped onto the saddle as tight as his fingers would allow him. The machine started slow and steady and rocked back and forth. Though in a matter of seconds, it began to violently buck. This wasn't the first time he'd experienced the extreme twists and turns the Tauros had in it. So far, so good. The timer read twenty seconds. Twenty one, twenty two... By the halfway point, the ride jerked back, forth, turned at breakneck speeds. It was a miracle Sven was still on.

But then he wasn't.

Like all the other times he tried to tame the mechanical beast, he went flying. Though this time, his upper body seemed to break through the protective barrier that the carnival had set up for those who couldn't handle the bull's wrath. Arms awkwardly tangled as one hooked above his head and the other pinned just beneath his left pectoral. As he glanced to the side, he noticed a passerby and wiggled his fingers in a rather awkward wave.

"Hey, uh... Mind giving me a little push out of here? I got a little overzealous with that mechanical menace in there."

Camellia was off work for the evening, much to her surprise. @topher was busy with his own work, so she decided to spend some time at the carnival before it left Hoenn. Not for a mission... just for pure relaxation.[break][break]

She had just arrived when she was passing the bucking TAUROS ride. She had thought about participating on that ride before, just to test her skill. After all she was known for her—[break][break]

Looked like the poor fellow had gotten thrown off and stuck on the side. Camellia walked closer, unable to hide an amused look on her lips. With a push, she shoved him over.[break][break]

With the shove, he was thankfully free from the confines of the wall. Once he was up and moving around, he flashed a smile of gratitude to the woman on the other side of the wall. As he looked back, he saw that the rest of the people waiting to test their skills and gave a bewildered smile. Oops. That was his bad. Sven raised his hands in a form of defense as he spewed out a few awkward apologies with a nervous laugh. Time to get moving, he supposed. As he circled around, the brunette quickly trotted up to the stranger who had been kind enough to push him out of his predicament (quite literally.)

"Hey, thanks again by the way!" he offered with the utmost gratitude. "Name's Sven, wish we could've met under better circumstances, but hey, no biggie."

A hand offered out, then quickly drawn back to wipe it free of any sweat from the adrenaline that coursed through his veins from the ride, and offered out once more. If she chose to shake it, then great. If not, he understood. It wasn't exactly in good tastes to shake hands with some weirdo that you pushed out of a wall. Sven wasn't exactly the verbal thanks kind of person, so it wasn't long until he held a hand up to excuse himself.

"Just wait right here! Let me get you something as my thanks."

He darted off towards the nearest food stand and got two orders of cotton candy. A bummer for the kid who had just gotten behind him. The young boy seemed so excited to get some cotton candy and when it was mentioned the stand didn't have anymore, Sven furrowed his brows and quickly turned around to offer out the treat he'd gotten for himself. He knelt down to the child's height and offered it out.

"Hey, hey, there's no need to be upset at a carnival. Here, you can have mine, just make sure to share it with your mom here, alright?"

Sven flashed his teeth in a smile at the child and quickly stood up to make a dash back to Camellia and offer the other cotton candy out to her.

"Here! This place has some pretty sweet cotton candy."

Camellia was about to say that there was truly no need for him to thank her. After all, it was a simple fix, really. But, here came the man, running over with an outstretched hand. That he wiped on his pants. Had he been nervous about being stuck? Surely someone would have gotten him off the wall eventually.[break][break]

So, after a moment, she shook his hand. "Camellia. It truly wasn't a big deal. You don't—"[break][break]

But before she could finish speaking, this Sven character was running off again toward a vendor.[break][break]

"Qu'est-ce que j'ai fait (what have I done)..."[break][break]

The child crying was like nails on a chalkboard to her. Camellia was tempted to just walk away and disappear among the masses, to avoid handling that situation. However, the cotton candy he'd gotten was offered to the child, and soon enough, like a FIDOUGH, he was running back over.[break][break]

Camellia didn't really even like cotton candy...[break][break]

"You really don't have to treat me, really. It's not a big deal..." But there was a building feeling of pity in the pit of her stomach if she just turned away now. She sighed, taking it from him.[break][break]

"Thank you. You can have some as well."
