[attr="class","cam"]Camellia laughed. In a situation where she knew she should be afraid and fearing for her life, a hearty laugh escaped her lips. Perhaps it's the irony of it all, how the ship was warping their perception of time, space, and themselves. Or, maybe she didn't know the truth either.

"I don't know. Do you think I am?"

Little did her partner know that she had her own paranoia as well. Hers just manifested differently. The assassin heard voices in her head chanting a single word, over and over, as she stared at her fellow Rocket:

"No. But maybe we'll be lucky." So, Camellia led him to the door, opening it. And she found that it led outside, back into the sea that they could somehow breathe in. Back to the warping zone that could take them home.

[attr="class","cam"]His Pokemon slammed into hers, a battle of body against body. No longer could Camellia's SIGILYPH attempt to infiltrate his mind and cause him suffering as he had. Even if it was a simple broken wrist, he was doing more than that.

He was playing a mind game of his own. Cillian Quinn was trying to break her apart, tear her down, and make her new.

"What you're trying to do. It's been done before. You're not the first to try to change me. They did it once, in Kalos. I'm not planning on letting it happen again."

While her Pokemon brawled with his, she took her knife and charged. Perhaps it was stupid, to try and attack an underboss. But Camellia felt bloodlust burning in her veins.

"There's no we. Shut up. Shut up before I make you!"

[attr="class","cam"]"Putain de bordel de merde!" Camellia cursed, Kalosian words breathed under her breath as Elijah announced the presence of more zombie-like entities.

She directed with her hand for her HISUIAN TYPHLOSION to join his TANGROWTH in the fray, at least to give her a few moments to pull out her next party trick. Whether or not it would get them out of this bind, she'd have to find out.

She was in the middle of loading her pistol when Elijah called for her to find a way out. She didn't reply, instead darting for the door as her Pokemon released as wild FLAMETHROWER in the room. It appeared they had a time limit in this room, since they didn't know what these bioluminescent fungi did, but the ship itself was metallic.

"Fuck."

There was another room that seemed quiet, despite the chaos they were undergoing at the moment. "Follow me! We can go to this room-"

She turned, looking back at Elijah. For a moment, she contemplated leaving him there for whatever remaining Megalopolans remained to find him and potentially end him. Maybe he'd find that a better way out. However, she groaned, deciding to jog over and kneel beside him.

"Elijah. It's not real. They aren't there. What is there is what our Pokemon are fighting, and we have to move now unless we want to die. Okay? Now, come on." She reached to slide her arm under his shoulder, bolstering him up and whistling at the Pokemon to move.

[attr="class","cam"]"Sure, sure. Whatever you say." Her typical bite was absent as she quipped with her Galarian counterpart, a chuckle emitted from her mask and going through their comms. It was too often that she was assigned to missions such as these with inexperienced grunts or those who claimed to work her line and not know what they were doing.

The moment she met Cain Toman, Camellia had the familiar feeling that he knew what he was doing and was prepared. And she was thankful that she didn't have to babysit.

"I liked your voice better without the distortion," she spoke, flipping her own as she trailed the other way. She spared him one last glance, saluting him as he disappeared with his GOLURK.

Camellia dropped her SLOWBRO, releasing from her ball when she appeared in front of the open door below. The voices were confused, their guard immediately rising — until she used AMNESIA to confuse them, lulling them into a sense of security as the assassin descended.

"They're ready for you," she spoke into her comm, almost singsong as it mixed with her Kalosian accent.

Since coming to Hoenn, there were eyes on her. Rocket eyes. Cillian Quinn's eyes. If she could pluck his eyes from his head and feed them to the dogs, she would. She was tired of being watched and monitored at all times.

She was tired of being made to be one of Rocket's puppets.

"But it takes time. And, like I said, I believe you can do it. Just be patient." Camellia looked down at the food and drink she provided for June, before saying, "Don't worry about paying. It's on the house."

A laugh escaped her lips. "Noted. Then I won't ask you to come work here. However, I do want you to come back when you've made it big one day and tell me about it. Yeah?" Her head tilted.

However, their conversation was cut short as their newfound clue turned rather problematic. Camellia did not expect to see a corpse rise from the ground, any leftover flesh falling off the bone like sludge.

She was quick to notice that it seemed blind, despite the plants burrowed in its eye sockets. It did not charge immediately, instead moving its head wildly around to catch any sound it could. Her gaze flitted to elijah gardner, and she pressed a finger to her lips.

🗺️ CAMELLIA LEMAITRE's skills honed by her work with the revocs or her independent work as an assassin must be advantageous in some way.

Camellia drew her dagger from the sheath, the sound of metal ringing drawing its attention. A loud roar came from its maw as it charged — but she was quicker, dodging its flailing arms and coming up from behind. The bones were fragile as she drove her knife home into its skull, reaching to rip its limbs from their sockets.

But if it was possessed, would this even finish it off?

"Be careful. Look for more."

Camellia was expecting his BRELOOM to attack her SIGILYPH. But, as she'd come to find out in the most unfortunate manner, this man was full of undesirable surprises. The toxic Pokemon's SKY UPPERCUT was aimed for her, and for her mostly healed wrist.

And it was coming fast.

"Sceau!"

He took place in front of her, RELFECTING the SKY UPPERCUT. "If that's how we're playing..." She demanded her own Pokemon to attack Cillian Quinn with its PSYCHIC power.

There were a hoard of GENESECT pointing their weapons at them, the police cornering them from the front and behind. Camellia cursed Kalosian slang beneath her breath, the CYCLIZAR coming to a screeching halt.

"You ready for a fight?"

Though the fight never happened. Instead, the city went black. Panicked cries descended around them, followed by confused and distressed sounds from the cops. This was their chance.

"Follow me." Camellia grabbed Leilani Kalawai'a's wrist and dismounted, charging into the darkness.

[attr="class","cam"]It reeked of cigarette smoke as she entered, burning her lungs with the familiar poison that she also destroyed herself with. She craved a taste of nicotine, if only to burn away her irritation toward the Underboss.

Instead, Camellia faced him with arms crossed over her chest.

"How kind of you. What made you change your mind from before? Remember, you sent me there with a broken wrist last time," the assassin replied bitterly, rolling the joint absentmindedly. It was fully healed at this point thanks to the healing abilities of Rocket's medics and their Pokemon.

There was still a faint ache, though, perhaps in her mind reminding her of his power.

"Don't say words like that. 'Obedient.' Like you're treating me as a dog," Camellia hissed, kicking the door behind her.

His BRELOOM caught her attention. She decided to play his game. Her SIGILYPH was released, flying ahead of her.

It was all familiar work for the assassin. Not to mention, her ghost-type Pokemon were ready to be used at any moment's notice.

She looked past her mask at Cain Toman, her bloody gaze narrowed as a smirk crawled across her lips. "You're impatient, for a hitman. Relax, enjoy the show."

Voices came from below.

"It's our cue. Let's move."

Camellia walked from the room, entering the next as they dove deeper into the ship. Behind this door, there was a splash of red. It was thick, sticky, and it was all too familiar.

Much like those with the statues.

"Annoying beast!" she spat. The tropical rain would extinguish fire.

How else should she attack?

"Piquer! X-SCISSOR!" The NINJASK flew forward, charging and attacking the legendary beast. All while a wave of nausea hit Camellia. Was she becoming affected?

"Better hang on. Things are about to get bumpy."

She steered the CYCLIZAR, veering it to a sharp right as they disappeared into an alleyway. Several of the cops flew past them, though a couple managed to make the turn with them.

"Out of the way!" she shouted, moving past floating carts of peddlers trying to make a black market deal in the shadows.
