Back and forth they bump and clash. Eva’s bright laugh rang over the little purr of the engines each time they jerked to a sudden halt that nearly flew Kit off her shoulders. Thankfully, the Chimchar was used to this and hung out for dear life.

By the time it’s all said and done, their bumper car competition could only be reasonably called a draw.

“That was some great driving from you two!” Eva grinned as they shimmied out of the arena’s exit, “The teamwork was quite impressive,” as thy venture a little further from the crowd, her voice drops to a hush, “I can see why they chose you,” she shot the disguised Uxie a little wink before glancing at the time.

“I’ve gotta get going,” she was scheduled to be at a League event shortly, “Thanks for the ride! I’ll see y’all around ok?”

And with that, Eva dashed off to the League tent, crossing her finger she wouldn’t be late.
