It quickly fades away thanks to his boon from Xerneas but he was surrounded by unfamiliar faces, he hadn't met any of these... "drk" triad members before, probably because they knew he'd be difficult to deal with...they also were probably aware of how to deal with him. [break][break]

"I'd rather kill myself than work with them." he said as suddenly he drops a pokeball by his side and unleashes a grimmsnarl upon them all. "Spirit break." he orders coldly as Grimmsnarl's hair glows with a sickeningly pink light as it unleashes several tendrils of hair towards the group.

Bryan attacked without waiting for Zev. Wordlessly, the hitman joined the fray, releasing his Nidoking to wreak havoc onto the DRK Triad's assembly. But eventually, as Zev anticipated, the Unown emerged and struck them with beams of HIDDEN POWER.[break][break]

The world around them shifted in a blink. Looking up, the hitman found himself at the base of the Tree of Life. Glancing sidelong at Bryan, he had a hunch he knew what the other Beast would choose to do.[break][break]

"I'm guessing you want to water it," Zev said, gesturing to the tree.[break][break]

He looks around wildly, the scene shifts, they seemingly were banished from the area they were in previously and sent to a new location. [break][break]

One that was extremely familiar to him. He looks towards the tree of life in all of it's glory, he stares at it for a moment watching all of the pokemon kneel to it as if they were in prayer. "You knew this was here?" he asks wanting clarification. [break][break]

The tree links with him, and urges him to feed the tree, to water it begging for assistance as it urges him. Zev looks to him, already anticipating that Bryan would want to water it. He nods, and sends out his azumarill and orders it to water the tree of life .

[attr="class","itemcoltext"]You water the tree. Suddenly, you hear a crackling sound of moving wood, the bare tree's branches swaying as if alive. Around you, the petrified Pokemon stir alive. The stone crumbles apart as new fur, hide and scale emerge.[break][break]

The tree settles back into dormancy, but the Pokemon eventually turn to you in thanks.[break][break]

Curiously, these Pokemon feature brilliant markings that glow and glimmer beautifully in the dappled sunlight. Whether they were originally Illumina Pokemon or not is uncertain, but they shine bright with gratitude.

The storm clouds stop before your ship. From the cumulous cover, a THERIAN THUNDURUS emerges with crackling lightning coursing from its knotted tail. What does it want? It does not look pleased.

Zev nodded. "I've seen this simulation a few times. I already know what will happen when we water it."[break][break]

But instead of explaining, he watched in silence as Bryan's Azumarill watered the roots of the Tree of Life. As the hitman expected, the stone petrifying the surrounding Pokémon crumbled away, revealing them as Illumina Pokémon. They surrounded the men, murmuring their thanks in their own languages.[break][break]

Then the scene shifted once more, and Zev found himself on a ship during a storm. He frowned as the Thundurus approached them, as it had before in past runs.[break][break]

"We can fight it or appease it," he explained to Bryan. "Fighting it means we risk drowning, though. Do you want to try, anyway?"[break][break]

This whole fucking thing is sketchy. [break][break]

Needless to say, he hated it. "This whole thing is fucking dumb" he growls as suddenly they warp again without warning and they discover a new pokemon that he was unfamiliar with. "You even have to ask? neither of us would probably struggle against it." he says as the two of them were the unstoppable hypothetical boulder. [break][break]

He leaps into the air off of their platform, sending his grimmsnarl at it to use SPIRIT break [break][break]
