His attention shifts to the realm beyond, and his fingers grip a Pokeball. From it, a violet energy leaks, melding with the faint buzz of light that's under his collar.

Power trickles from him, and he feels a slight headache coming on. It worsens at her antagnosism.

"Does it sound like I'm jaded?" His anger takes a vocal, venomous quality to it. "Having your loved ones thrown in a cell for months on end, tortured and prodded like cattle for information, will do that to you." He wasn't finished, either. "Do I need to list out the crimes of Team Rocket for you? How about one — Sootopolis, and Necrozma. I lost good friends that day, all due to the actions of the people you align yourself with."

His conversation with Isaac Merlo comes to mind again. Anger spikes to new heights, and despite the rational of her words, it's drowned in an ocean of red.

"Go fuck yourself. Try and convince yourself all you like that you aren't contributing to the greater crimes of Team Rocket, but don't try that shit with me."

Wiping at his shirt, he kicks off to make his exit. Before he fully can, he stops, words coming from over his shoulder.

"If you believe what you're saying — really believe them — then you're on the wrong side. And, until you realize that? Well, the next time we meet it won't end like this."

Without another word, he heads deeper into the island.
