Soaring through the skies above the battlefield was a certain Kalosian, seated on a Roaring Moon. Accompanying the duo were a small fleet of Flying-types and dragons capable of levitation. A Hydreigon, Flygon, Salamence, Staraptor, and Emolga all took to the skies, on the hunt for any Rockets in the air.

Though it was only his job to guard the skies, the former Elite Four would relish in the chance to wipe out any Rockets in his path.

Tempest soared above the water, his shiny new toy folded into transportation mode.[break][break]

He held a scope to his eyes, trying to hone in on League supply lines. If they could find a good spot to strike, they might be able to disrupt the flow for the League while also securing good cargo for themselves...[break][break]

The only problem was that this was dangerous work. It was close to enemy lines, even if Tempest was zooming around up high. His specialties also were less so in air combat and more so in water based. So, this might not end as well as he was hoping.[break][break]

As expected, it's not long before he spots someone else up here patrolling. He's too close for them to not spot him even if he tries to hide now- the only thing he can do it go on the offensive.[break][break]

So, pressing a button on the console, he has the Gensect LOCK-ON to Thomas Benoit.

The man on the back of the Genesect was a hard thing to miss, especially when one was looking for aerial threats. The Roaring Moon, and its followers, would fly towards the man on the metallic creature. As it closed in, the Roaring Moon would call in a Sunny Day, clearing the skies of clouds, in order to bring unfettered sunlight down upon the battlefield. Protosynthesis activated, causing the primordial Salamence's muscles to swell.

The Emolga, excited at the prospect of some action, flew ahead of the pack, using Agility to boost his already impressive movement speed up to much greater levels.

Ah, so he'd been spotted.[break][break]

Well, Temp would just have to take care of this fast.[break][break]

After the LOCK ON clicked into place, Tempest pressed another button on the Genesect. Frosty energy gathered around it's back canon. There was a brief pause- then it unleashed.[break][break]

The TECHNO BLAST exploded into the air, aimed right for the man and his pokemon.[break][break]

Thomas Benoit was dangerous. He needed to take him out as quick as possible.

The Emolga, upon spotting the Techno Blast hurdling towards his master, dashed as quickly as he could. With a Quick Attack, the gliding rodent managed to get in front of them in time, taking the Techno Blast for his master. Unfortunately, the power of the attack overwhelmed the little guy, causing him to come falling into the waters below. If the attack didn't kill him, then drowning surely would.

Clenching his fist, Thomas glowered at the man on the Genesect. The primordial Salamence rushed the metallic bug. The Roaring Moon reared his tail, before taking a Breaking Swipe at the automaton.

The slice of claws on steel ring loud. Tempest scoffs, jerking the controls to the side to help keep his ride aloft. For the moment, the Genesect is kept airborne with the help of it's trainer and the internal guidance system.[break][break]

He doesn't actually know what pokemon that Thomas Benoit is using. It reminds him vaguely of the Paradox pokemon, or maybe some warped Ultra Beast. It's like a Salamence except stranger.[break][break]

Either way, Temp knows he will stop it even if it kills him to try.[break][break]

While it's still close, a light glows as the mechanical pokemon tries to Fell Stinger the dragon.

Though the attack isn't very effective against the Genesect's armor, it does at least negate the benefits of Download. Unfortunately, this still put the Roaring Moon at range for the Fell Stinger. The dragon roars in pain, before catching itself quickly. In retaliation, the beast swipes at the Genesect with a Throat Chop.

Thomas would glower at the man on the insect, his intent to take Tempest down just as strong as Tempest's drive to take Thomas down.

The fighting type move slammed into the Genesect, ratting Tempest along with the hit. He slammed a button on the console, a Giga Drain starting up. The Genesect tried to claim small bubbles of the other pokemon's life to help it recover.[break][break]

Even if it was small, if the move landed, Thomas Benoit would see the bend in the hull slowly start to reform itself. The self healing of the machine kicking into overdrive.

Thomas grinned as the move connected. Despite this, the Genesect was still going strong, the owner hitting another button. As the beam latched onto the Roaring Moon, it would feel its vitality being sapped. Thomas watched as the Genesect's body began to repair itself. Unlike the Fell Stinger from earlier, this mainly served to annoy the primal Salamence.

In retaliation, the Roaring Moon would swing its tail in yet another Breaking Swipe. This time, the attack was aimed towards the man on the console.
