Still, if he's just asking his pokemon to be decoys while they're hiding around and getting ready to sweep the floor...[break][break] Out comes her two phones: One a simple replacement for the one Kouji had broken and the other a precious backup that Isaac had helped her picked out. And then her pokemon, two bright Rotoms that beep and blink at the four Hideos present.[break][break] "Mimic." Gesturing to the quintuplets, she gives them a second to process her request before holding her phones out. Then, they'll each occupy a device, screens flickering for all but a moment until a duet rings out.[break][break] "A-a-aaaaa. Aaaa'ym Hideo. I'm Hideo! Over here!"[break][break] Mimicry is the highest form of flattery or something, right? She looks over to the fake Hideos (she'd been keeping track of who was who), and offers each phone to two of them.[break][break] "Covers speaking, draws attention." She sure isn't going to break it to him, not while they're doing something as disruptive and dumb as this.[break][break] The radio crackles to life with a multitude of voices, both familiar and fresh. All honed in on her closest friend. All because he chose to become a gym leader and paint a target on his back.[break][break] For a moment, she feels sick. Her heart flutters uncomfortably as she turns away to suppress a wave of nausea into a mere cough.[break][break] When she turns back, it's to offer him the radio. And she'll take a hold of his hand, making sure to rest his thumb on the main button before letting go.[break][break] "Press and hold to talk."[break][break] He can handle the taunting, she'll handle the problem of keeping them untraceable. As if she were attempting to fight against every shred of instinct that knew that making a sound could spell death, or that she'd felt like her lungs were slowly filling with water and her chest felt like it might just squeeze her heart so tight it'd burst.[break][break] "I didn't want this..." She feels so weak just saying this. "I wanted to leave Rocket but I didn't want to do it alone... I left them behind cos I thought I might have family out here for me..."[break][break] She can hear her own breathing, that uncomfortably soft whistling of air with every inhale. Now that Chu-e Choi's gone, what happens to her reasons for being here? Keeping her silence had made things so wonderfully numb, where she wouldn't have to confront reality as long as she didn't speak it to life.[break][break] "I thought that there'd be someone who still loved me even after I left... now there's no one and they'll try to kill me. I knew I was breaking their trust... those people that protected and raised me like their own. They were bad but I was happy being there with them."[break][break] Would he understand such a feeling?
