Being this high up still made Temp's stomach twist with discomfort.[break][break]

The long stretch of the sea under him did calm him slightly. Temp would prefer to be down there, in the water where he was the most skilled. Yet, it wasn't where he was needed right now...[break][break]

The Genesect was sleek and shiny, a new one fresh from the hell of the labs. So many pokemon ripped apart to create this one purple android of death. Folded up into the 'flight' mode, Tempest gripped the handles knuckle white.[break][break]

What had they called him for up here? He didn't see anything.

It takes Tempest longer than it should to notice he isn't alone.[break][break]

A streak of yellow in the distance, hovering in the air with him. Tempest narrows his eyes at someone he does not recognize. An enemy, then.[break][break]

He flicks his eyes at the Dragonite, then back up to the other.[break][break]

A stand still.[break][break]

But Tempest presses a button on the handles, having the Genesect LOCK ON to the target in the distance.

Whatever seriousness Tempest felt in this situation, it felt kind of drained out by the... cheeriness of the other. This was a war, or at least a larger scale battle, where people were living and dying.[break][break]

His eyes flicked between the Orbeetle and the trainer, pressing the controls of his Genesect to get closer while also slowing down.[break][break]

Temp's thumb stayed on the trigger, just in case.[break][break]

"If you're a civilian, leave for your own safety. If you're with the League, stand down and I won't fight you."[break][break]

Tempest wasn't cruel enough to attack those unwilling. But if @oolie refused he wouldn't hold back.

"Don't play dumb." The other had this light, airy quality about him. It annoyed Tempest; made his skin prickle. As if he wasn't being taken seriously. "The League wants to take the people I care about away from me. I won't let that happen."[break][break]

A button was pressed on the Genesect. It whirred to life again from under him, eyes glowing red as it sucked in energy. But the attack held instead of launched, as if waiting on ollie morales to say the spell that would make it cease.[break][break]

"Stand down and leave. I won't warn you again."[break][break]

"I don't want to hurt you." But he would.

This guy is useless.[break][break]

The thought bubbles in Tempest's chest, making him uneasy. The man before him was clearly not built for war. Too kind. Too nice. Too willing for concessions.[break][break]

His thumb dipped off the Genesect's attack button, the stored power from the move swirled into nothing, the force and effort wasted.[break][break]

ollie morales was lucky he had met Tempest and not a more cut throat Rocket up here today. The man would have died. But attacking someone so unwilling to defend themselves was not Temp's MO. A battle was only worth it if both people were biting and scratching with the same ferocity, both fighting with a type of lust for victory.[break][break]

Tempest was more a warrior than he was a murderer.[break][break]

"Someone is going to kill you out here." It's almost sad, how he says it. A pity for the other man. A shame his life would be wasted.[break][break]

Temp does, however, lean forward some. Over the front of his ride. A bit closer, bad idea as that was, to the other and his pokemon.[break][break]

"What would you do if you met Cillian Quinn out here? Attack him? Arrest him? Try to kill him? Would your kindness be extended to him, too? What about the other Rocket upper brass? The killers and murders?"
