[attr="class","samjermain"] From her disguised vantage point, a vicious smile curls up the woman’s lips. Something about being so powerless and doing this filled her with joy. It helped that poison did most of the work, something she had long relied on. In many ways, the scientist was toying with Shalin—another trait she shared with her bosom companion beside her. And, another falls to the ocean’s calls. The success of the attack temporarily blotted out her irritation at his disobedience. A win was a win after all. At the Beedrill’s appearance, the woman’s nose wrinkles. That thing was an eyesore. A walking school crossing sign equipped with blades and a nasty, illegible expression. But she would have to deal with it later. Right now, her rogue Pokemon was on the fast track to becoming sashimi. “Hmph.”The earpiece continued to buzz unintelligibly at it as beady eyes fixated on the dragon. “Dodge beneath the waves.” The creature rose itself further out of the water. “Take out the trainer, Mael.” Its tentacles rose around it like a cobra’s hood—poised to strike. To dodge was to be weak, and he was not weak. “You will listen! You damnable little octupus!” Calpurnia did not like being ignored. Fortunately, it seemed the dragon would prove absolute obedience to be the wiser option. As the dragon slammed into it, toxic blood sprayed into the sea. But the maddened creature did not seem to notice the grievous wound. Instead, it used the proximity to try and wrap the Flygon in its sinewy, slippery grip. Its beak clacked hungrily. That lab-grown fish just wasn’t the same. “Titania!” The woman called irritably as she loosed another Pokeball. From it, a colorful Vivillion emerged, its wings a kaleidoscope of color and its expression one of resignation. She wanted a win. A way to save face and reassert her perceived pecking order. “Knock that little bitch out of the skies.” With only a brief hesitation, the butterfly moved to do what was told. Skirting her feet across the water—a blip against the tumultuous, violet seas—Titania drew close enough to summon a Hurricane. Damage on its ally be damned.
