The ICE COLD breeze that swept through the forest and tenderly caressed Remiel's cheek was an adequate precursor to the sobbing they began to hear somewhere nearby. Mutsu was quick to hide within the shell of his dripping apple, of course. But his master was quick to coax him out of it. "Come now. I'm sure there's a perfectly mundane reason behind this."

And, just then, a YAMASK would come wandering out from some bushes. It seemed ASTONISHED to see them there, and traded that look with the Dipplin before the former fired a SUCKER PUNCH. Though the attack had been cast rather instinctively, it succeeded in knocking the Yamask unconscious.

Afterward, Remiel would produce an empty Luxury Ball from his pack and capture it.

The air in the cavern they've discovered is distinctly more COLD than that of the air outside. Mutsu doesn't dare go in, however. Even when Remiel beckons the Dipplin to advance while casting it a disapproving glare.

When a ZUBAT suddenly bursts out from the shadows, the Dipplin yelps and immediately begins to roll away. The black-haired royal sighs as the bat chaotically flaps in the air above him. Then, before long, he takes off in search of his Dipplin.

There were no SCARECROWS here for the MURKROW to perch on and taunt him from. Remiel had gotten used to the sight at his estate, where a murder of crows had banded together to try and sabotage his crop of grapes each year. The one here seemed just as determined to cause some mischief.

Seeing that the Dipplin below was a bit of a scaredy cat, it swooped down to enact some FOUL PLAY on it. It underestimated what lengths Mutsu would go to for self-preservation, however. Before long, it was blasted at point-blank range with a SYRUP BOMB. As it cawed and struggled to escape the viscous substance that now drenched its feather, Remiel would produce an empty Luxury Ball and capture it.

Branches and foliage were webbed together all across the forest like primordial SCARECROWS of their own. They were warnings preceding the lair of a TAROUNTULA deep inside. And, almost as soon as they entered this lair, Remiel and Mutsu were detected.

The spider would STAKE OUT the pair for a moment before leaping onto the Dipplin for a BUG BITE. Rather than let his Pokémon deal with this threat on its own, the black-haired royal would summon a lightning bolt in his hand before casting it. The bolt would strike this spider in a flash, sending it yelping off the Dipplin before it ran away.

The DEINO they would come across shortly afterward was nothing short of being a bully. It would verbally harass Mutsu with the gleam of a NASTY PLOT in its expression. Before it could proceed with an actual attack, however, the Dipplin acted. Fed up with being pushed around, it cast an INFESTATION at the little dragon.

While said dragon struggled to BELCH, releasing unflattering sounds that could almost be confused for that of a CHAINSAW desperately attempting to be revved up, Remiel would contain his laughter and instead reach for an empty ball in his pack. With a quick toss, he would attempt a capture. "Nicely done, Mutsu."

The light that glinted off the GIMMIGHOUL's back was like a CRYSTABLOOM in the shadowy forest. Remiel found it surprising that moonlight could hit such a small coin with such potency, but he didn't question it. It acted as a beacon for him and his Dripplin as they slowly approached.

Perhaps due to the small specter's size, Mutsu wasn't afraid. In fact, he tumbled forward to attack it before Remiel could even utter a command. The sound of its approach ASTONISHED the Gimmighoul, no doubt, but by then the Dripplin had already launched a POLLEN PUFF.

The attack would strike the little ghoul without fail. As the pollen cleared, Remiel would pull out an empty Luxury Ball from his pack before aiming his throw. Then he would cast it, and congratulate his Dipplin for a job well done.
