It had been some time since Remiel had put in some sword practice with RAIJIN. The KINGAMBIT often found such practice beneath him. But, on this particular day, he seemed fairly open to it.

It had been some time since he'd been out of the PC. The chance to see some real combat every once in a while was a treat. Remiel could feel that energy brimming off the Kingambit like a fiery aura.

So they would venture into the forest together, looking for a nice place to train. But, quietly, hoping something appeared to challenge them as well.

The YAMASK receives no pity from the Kingambit. Its crying earns it no mercy. And, despite its attempt to DISABLE its attacker, it is struck down by a KOWTOW CLEAVE nonetheless.

Remiel appears on the scene shortly thereafter. He feels a spot of pity for the little ghost himself but doesn't waste too much time on the feeling either. Before long, he produces an empty Luxury Ball from his pack and captures it.

The ZUBAT frantically flies just above them. Remiel can't tell if it's trying to greet them, warn them, or attack them. And neither can Raijin.

The two continue to stare at it for a little while, however, until its cries become SUPERSONIC. At that point, the Kingambit becomes annoyed and shoos it away with a METAL BURST from clanging its arms together.

The MURKROW taunts them from a branch up above. Unlike the Zubat earlier, the pair below it knew exactly what it was doing. This time, Remiel approved the METAL BURST that shot up and sent a resounding echo throughout the forest.

The crow was struck, and a burst of black feathers and snapped branches were sent up into the sky as a result. But the strike did not cause it to faint. Instead, the Murkrow barely managed to remain airborne before flying off in a hurry.

The web of traps scattered throughout the forest is no match for Raijin's blade. He seems to delight in finding them and cutting them down. It isn't until he stumbles into a pit full of them, however, that the trap-setter emerges.

The TAROUNTULA had been STAKING THEM OUT for some time now. Thinking it had the advantage, it leaped down to try and BUG BITE the Kingambit on the head. This attack was successful, but not very effective.

Before long, the spider was struck down with an IRON HEAD. Once Raijin was free of the webs, Remiel would have said spider ferried out before he would capture it within the confines of a Luxury Ball.

The DEINO does not entertain the idea of play. It brushes off Remiel with a growl before turning its attention to the nearby Kingambit. Then, rather recklessly, it BELCHES in the samurai's general direction.

Needless to say, Raijin is insulted. His SUPREME OVERLORD complex kicks in as he steps forward. Then, in one decisive KOWTOW CLEAVE, he renders the Deino unconscious.

Remiel is quick to give the fallen Deino a once over before pulling out an empty Luxury Ball and capturing it.

The GIMMIGHOUL leaves Raijin looking like a fool for a while. Frankly, this ASTONISHES the Kingambit and causes it to flinch. The only mistake the little specter would make was laughing at it.

What time it could have used to escape instead was wasted. In one flash of a METAL BURST, the Gimmighoul would be dispatched. Remiel was quick to follow up with the toss of an empty Luxury Ball afterward. But the sky was getting dark and it was time to leave the spooky woods once and for all.
