It had been some time since he'd last explored the unfathomable depths of METEOR FALLS. Not wanting to disturb the wildlife here too much, Remiel carried a lantern with him. What he didn't know, however, was that the oil burning within it was serving as DRAGON-TYPE incense.

Thankfully, he's brought his ILLUMINA PERRSERKER to help keep guard. Using his glowing coin to illuminate the path forward, LEIF scouts the area ahead for his master with a perpetual toothy smirk. There were treats to be had when all of this was over, after all.

A JANGMO-O stalks them from a ridge above. Stalks them badly, at that. Its scales are so noisy as it moves from behind one rock to another. When it peeks out at them, its large yellow forehead plate sticks out like a sore thumb.

The little dragon is simply curious, however. Remiel simply ignores it as they continue forward. And, though Leif is tempted to leap upward and beat it away, the black-haired prince quickly shoots it a glare.

Unlike the Jangmo-o from earlier, the HAXORUS that stalks them in the dark knows exactly what it is doing. They don't hear it at all, and it's impossible to discern exactly how long it had been trailing them. When Leif sniffs it out, however, his keen senses support him in shining a SPOTLIGHT upon it.

The dragon, of course, LEERS at them. When it leaps in to attack, however, Remiel's Perrserker is quick to strike it down with a SLASH. Despite the size difference, the Haxorus succumbs to unconsciousness. Most wild Pokémon had the foolish tendency to underestimate the short cat.

Pulling an empty Luxury Ball out from his pack, the black-haired royal steps forward to capture the noble dragon.
