The same old corridors, the same patterns and colors. The day to day life of staying at the Rocket HQ, it had always been 0 or 100 when it came to the organization, it was either practicing, training and growing when everything was okay or it was apocalyptic events happening, Aidan would describe it as an interesting way of living.[break][break]

The familiarity Aidan had with the training facilities made this unexpected request a lot easier on himself. This place felt like his home inside the Submarine, it was the place he felt the most comfortable in. Home away from home.[break][break]

For he first time he wasn't visiting the training area out of his own volition, he had been requested by jayden cross. A higher up Aidan had never met before, not that Aidan went around meeting new people around the Rocket HQ.[break][break]

Just like a wizard, Aidan would arrive precisely when he meant to. The one problem was that he didn't know what the person he was meant to meet actually looked like, perhaps it was time Aidan started going to those meeting he had always avoided like the plague.[break][break]

outside of his office and home, there were very few places that jayden could find comfort in. especially these days, when his emotions ran as rampant as the beast that continued to flicker in and out of his life. some days he would wake up and find chien pao curled at the food of his bed that he shared with fern delaney. other times, it would be days before he caught sight of the beast.

[break][break] whatever it was, he could only trust a few in his presence. there were only a few places that he knew could withstand the temperature of his current state — and few that he could trust not to flee.

[break][break] but time passed, and things needed to happen, and there was only so much that jayden could put off his responsibilities as an admin in favor of his new avatarship.

[break][break] the training room is absolutely frigid by the time that Aidan Hereford enters. a grunt that jayden does not recognize. perhaps he may have recognized him if they had met months ago, when jayden had cared more about paperwork and schematics.

[break][break] there was no other person in the room for aidan to meet, so who he would meet would be obvious.

[break][break] the man stood at the opposite end of the room, inspecting their equipment. one metal spear in particular was his current interest.

Entering the room had an uneasy feeling to say the least. The fact that it was only Aidan and one other person really made everything feel like a boos battle in a videogame, looking from the outside it might have even looked almost epic but for Aidan it held the opposite effect. He was even sure if he squinted hard enough the man on the other side of the room might even have a HP bar above their head.[break][break]

Steps would definitely be taken towards the nearest exit if music with Latin vocals suddenly started playing. His name would be called out, a chill running down his spine. "As ready as I'll ever be." He wasn't. Were they about to practice on close quarters combat, Aidan could see the equipment being checked. [break][break]

Stretching himself one step at a time as he moved forward. So what are the instructions today, sir?" Should he even be asking? He had been punished for less before. What if he was about to be asked to fend himself from a pokemon attack with the weapon being inspected, the possibilities were endless and mostly all painful.[break][break]
