The grass is parted and a Budew flies up into the air, bumping its head on the ground right in front of Tsubaki. She quickly puts it in a ball, before the Gengar can get at it.[break][break]

He doesn’t fully get this kind of struggle. The need to repent, the need to slough off one’s sins. But he can’t exactly say that to her, can he? Especially not after she had made her distaste for the likes of Rockets so patently clear.[break][break]

A Toxel emerges from the growth, lapping away at a forming puddle. It doesn’t have to worry about good and evil, just how best to follow its instincts and foster the next generation of its kind. Like a blessing, like a curse, Alba drags it away from that mindless place, forcing it into humanity.[break][break]

Working off that debt, little by little? No, it was everyone else who needed to pay him back.
