He didn't downright deny his original offer was not that of the green gown, but she figured it alluded to something else, thankfully. As the Golurk spun through the skies she felt peace with the wind, its currents allowing her hair to flow.[break][break]

A smirk manifested under her mask, one he would not be able to see. "Money is nice, but I'm not partial to accepting your filthy league funds. And retirement? Do you think a woman of my age who had been incarcerated for five decades would wish to retire when she's finally got her freedom? I think not." She was beginning to ramble, just as all the elderly women in the cells had a habit of time and time again.[break][break]

"The curse is ticking your time away, dear. Give me something of more substance, quickly." She said. But she was just as confident in her words as she was unsure with his, as there was no indicator even in her mind if she could truly be satisfied with the help he had offered.

he recalls his altaria, replacing it with a charizard that MEGA EVOLVES to take them away to safety. briefly, he contemplates providing backup at the cave, but decides against it in the end.[break][break]

Substance was provided not by his following words he wished to speak, but by a draconic emissary of the interdream mist below. Watching as it slammed into the Altaria with widened eyes, Marilyn sighed as the Elite Four member dipped from the clouds— how disappointing. The help that he spoke of was lost in the winds, unable to keep up with the newfound speed he’d acquired on his mount. It was a mystery in her mind what he had truly meant, frustration lining her wrinkles and cracks.[break][break]

“Go back to your Elite Four chamber, you stupid little pimp. Get away from here,” she screamed at the man in annoyance, aged phlegm sputtering from her lips, “.. but I never leave empty handed, MATIAS SILPH! NEVER!”[break][break]

It was true, one way or another— experience was brought with the lack of taking him prisoner, a bit of an ego boost. Tapping the stem of the cane against the Golurk’s sternum, she shakily whistled, commanding the ghost type to take her back to a place she could gather herself.
