As much of a dagger as Theo's words were to Shalin, she understood the call of duty. Whether it were to League or to Rocket, both had their ideals to follow. At the very least, it seemed that Theo was willing to put his work duties aside enough for them to enjoy an adventure together, despite being on opposite ends of the political conflict.

"Then may I suggest we try to avoid meeting on the battlefield?" Shalin asked. "I don't agree with your organization's beliefs, and I'm certain you don't agree with mine.
