"Heads up!" he said grinning as him and his companion took part of a midnight run. The rain pours in sheets and amongst the churning, black and white waves he can see the faint bright yellow, red, and blue glow of Kyogre fighting its Primal instincts. Mint only grins, not even bothered by the possible damages a rampaging god could cause the cycling road above them. [break][break]

"We lure it out to see and follow it." he said as he already began annotating on a strange device. It pings loud and quick, nabbing his the information he wanted before he types something in to save and send back to base. [break][break]

"Aaand...oh- seems we have important stuff here. howard slayte doesn't Kyogre to give him more work." Mint added with a sigh as he called his flying pokemon. An Altaria appears, having miraculously survived the battles at 105 ( it hadn't he just had another one ). "Time to deflect and see if we can sick a tracker on Moby Dick." he said as his partner took flight.

Tempest doesn't extend warning or worry for mint frost. The other could handle himself.[break][break]

Instead he stays quiet as Marina slices through the water like a knife, his Sygna Suit glowing as the Sharpedo carries him. Water slides off his back and makes the already choppy water harder to fight with. Tempest trusts his pokemon can handle it. She'd handled worse.[break][break]

The leviathan comes into sight and Tempest, as instructed previously, takes to the sky.[break][break]

Swapping Sharpedo for Genesect, the mechanical war machine is in 'flight' mode for him to stand on. It hovers in the air as he pulls himself on top of it.[break][break]

"Marina can act as bait." He answers the other, humming.

[break][break]His Altaria flies low, watching the little blue dot as Marina approaches. Kyogre screams, rain pouring from the sky in sheets. [break][break]

"The trackers we have don't seem to last, but it might be enough to prove there's a pattern to this thing." he added as his Altaria summoned COTTON GUARD, poofing up protectively against the rain. As Tempest met him on Genesect, his bird closed in, trying to stabilize for her rider. "You have these right?" he asked holding up small sticky dots the size of his palm. "We don't need forever, just long enough to dive in while she chases."

"The deep pressure is probably destabilizing whatever sticking method is used. Unless we can physically tag, we'll keep losing her." It was something Tempest knew the basics on, given how many different ocean pokemon he'd had to track and tag aver the years. It was just friendly conversation, a nod given in confirmation as he flashed his own trackers to mint frost.[break][break]

The other probably didn't care about those logistics, but the words seemed to spill out anyway.[break][break]

"If we can track her, that would be useful. I've been trying to get a blood sample but the League keeps interfering before I can."

"It's good enough for today. We can recalibrate the make and model of these later." For now, they'd work with what they had on hand. The science corps was all over the place these days. If he just gave a direct task about these trackers, they could probably craft something up. Hopefully it' not a very complicated ask. [break][break]

"Nows your chance. Though I doubt Kyogre will be still for long with anything on it. Despite it's size, it's extremely aware when pokemon touch it." Any pokemon that even got near it was promptly blasted or thrown off. Kyogre, mad as it was, couldn't keep still. He's not even sure if it did while underwater. [break][break]

His Altaria lets out a cry, dropping Mint off on top of rocky bluff before continuing forward. The bird attempted to SING the thing to sleep, swooping in low near it's head to try. Her cotton wing brush a little too harshly over the Kyogre's blue, trying to stick on some of the trackers given to her. [break][break]

Marina surged through the choppy water, the Sharpedo doing everything in her power to keep the titan distracted. Humming, Tempest nodded to mint frost and watched her move forward.[break][break]

He hadn't anticipated another chance foe blood today. He did have a few supplies on him, so why not take the shot? The League seemed to be blissfully absent in the moment.[break][break]

Popping his communicator in his ear for long distance communication, Tempest tapped it to hopefully catch Mint's attention that he was turning it on.[break][break]

"I'll put some more trackers on it while I'm trying. Keep an eye out." Hopefully this wasn't some hope at a murder, but Tempest would have to trust the other.[break][break]

Diving down on his Genesect, he tried to approach from the lower side- close to the water. It was slightly out of reach of the both the powerful fins and tail. Hopefully, it wouldn't crush him.

Her sing does little. The behemoth isn't put entirely to sleep, however it stills enough on Tempest's approach. As she kept SINGing in order to calm the beast, Mint relays what he's seeing, offering what he can from his position to coordinate. "From my previous encounters, the closer you are the more likely it is to use AQUA TAIL. I'll have her pull away and go on the defensive to lure out that ORIGIN PULSE." he said as he gave his bird a quick signal from the bluff he stood on. [break][break]

The dual flanked around, getting into Kyogre's line of sight as its eye drooped for a moment before returning to normal. She waited until yellow eyes locked onto her before shrieking and summoning a MOONBLAST to send right at its nose. In response the whale pokemon tensed, opening its mouth to meet the attack with multiple colored beams of ORIGIN PULSE. "Go high!" he called out, though he probably couldn't hear him above the storm and the waves.

'Go high!'[break][break]

Tempest didn't question it, he just went. From his angle and proximity, he couldn't really see what was happening. The wind whipping around them from the speed also made it hard to maneuver.[break][break]

The last needle he had tried just bent on the skin. This one was tougher, meant for dosing up rowdy pokemon like Rhydon and Onix who were basically just living stone. Holding the syringe in his fist, he slammed it down as hard as he could against the thick hide of the legendary. For a second it seemed like it might, also, break- but then there was a slight give as it slide inside.[break][break]

A moment, then a small spurt, and the syringe slowly started to fill. The blood was like fish's blood; red but kind of watery, not as thick as a human's. In only a few second, the whole thing was filled and Tempest quickly yanked it out.[break][break]

Kyogre shrieked; it had probably felt like little more than a bug bite to her, but it was still enough to piss her off. He ducked out of the way just in time for an Aqua tail to strike where he had been. The colossus thrashed about in the water, the calming that mint frost's pokemon had worked hard for useless now.[break][break]

"Think I pissed her off!" He called into the comm, gripping his Genesect, and his new prize of blood, tight in hand.

"Fuck her!" He shouted as Kyogre twirled around trying to find whatever poked it and smacking his Altaria out of the air. He returned her before she could get smashed against the rocks before letting out another pokemon. "Secure the sample, I'll cover you!" he said as he tossed out another pokeball. [break][break]

His Beheeyem takes only seconds to assess the situation as Kyogre roars, trying to give chase to his newest target. Gnocchi is quick to blast a SIGNAL BEAM between its eyes as Tempest gets a hold of his Genesect and takes off. [break][break]

"Fuck off, Quinn. I'll meet you back at the labs. That thing wants you bad!" he said as the Kyogre is only momentarily distracted by the psychic types' attack before swimming after the Genesect and its trainer. Mint sends out a Klefki to assist. The nervous keyring shook loudly as it cast a FAIRY LOCK, yanking Kyogre by one fin and forcing it to spin a quarter of a turn on itself. [break][break]

Gnocchi continued to blast SIGNAL BEAMS, riling up the legendary. When Neon is sure fellow Beast is safe he calls his pokemon to him. Gnocchi is at his side, the Klefki attaching itself to its trainers’ hip before the trio TELEPORT to safety only seconds before Kyogre destroys the sandbank they'd been on with ORIGIN PULSE.
