"i dunno about all that..."

he babysits her plenty after the events of mt pyre, after her ribs broke apart and her skin had to be stitched back together to form a new scar. she's gotten more since she's last seen him - they mock her sometimes.

and as he gives her the green light to start them off, her eevee launches itself forward to barrel at his mawile with take down.

"Coni, go for it." he called out as the Mawile suddenly smiles happily before darting faster than he can blink, gunning straight for the Eevee, more than excited to continue fighting. [break][break]

She glows a brilliant rainbow, and Paxton's mega accessory lights up as she transforms mid step, suddenly filled with a burst of speed straight to the Eevee. Her fist glows with chilly energy as she tries to hit the pokemon with an ICE PUNCH. [break][break]

[attr="class","illeana i"]his mawile transforms into its mega evolved form and for a moment, illeana wonders if her eevee will be able to overcome the influx of energy...

no matter for they will try their best. that's what counts, right?

her eevee tries to dart out of the way of the ice punch, but she still manages to get clipped in the side. the punch sends the eevee careening back a few feet, skidding on her small paws until her body slows to a stop.

and after a moment, the eevee begins to grow in size as illeana's dynamax band shines. red energy swirls around the arena until her eevee is in gigantamax form. from there, the eevee retaliates with g-max cuddle.

The Eevee turns massive and Conibear's back hears roar in excitement, jaws snapping and snarling in anticipation. Thee Eevee is massive, but she can outspeed her, maybe. As they reach down with their attack, Coni jumps upwards to meet them with their own IRON HEAD. [break][break]

[attr="class","illeana i"]his mega mawile smacks into the gigantamax eevee's chest with a heavy iron head. the hit stings, even with the sheer amount of fluff that tries to absorb the blow.

and after a moment of recovery, the eevee barks and launches its next move.

max phantasm looks to swallow up the mega mawile with shadows encroaching across the entirety of the arena - ghastly hands stretching to slam the mega mawile into the ground.

the fluffy gigantamax fox switches gears, then, and takes aim at the mawile.

once the eevee has traced the path for his mawile, she lifts a paw and uses g-max cuddle to try and push mawile into the ground.

and once her body is no longer feeling off kilter, the giant eevee uses max phantasm in an attempt to knock the mawile back down into the dirt.

if it could gain the upper hand, perhaps they'd manage to come back from the edge of defeat...

with the concept in mind, the eevee is not deterred by the rocks from continuing her onslaught.

she switches tactics, alternating between two moves until one fully connects. g-max cuddle comes in the form of another paw trying to bat the mawile around the arena.
