Pulling Ash out to have battles was cheering him up considerably. That one lady, Diana Cavendish helped. The other one too, ana fell? It was going well! Just constantly making the former Rocket battle others was working, and it made him more like he was.[break][break]

In truth, it was just a distraction... but a nice one.[break][break]

Another fight. This one, on the beaches of a now snowy Lilycove. At the arena itself, as Ashley crosses his arms and waits... he can't even fathom who he'd come across next. Let alone...[break][break]

But, as Law approached her, and attempted to get him closer to battle, the silver-haired man just makes a sheepish wave. "Hey. My bear wants to have a fight with you... that cool? VCT rules and all." He's rubbing the back of his head, the closest thing to a smile he could manage. Sunken dark eyes, and what's worse, his other hand held onto a cane he used to get around.

Victoria and Osiris had been out beach combing, looking for seashells and other little trinkets they could take with them back home. Just as a form of activity to get them out of their room. They had been enjoying a little break from all the battles recently and figured it was time to get back out there again. [break][break]

She sensed someone approaching before she heard them. Osiris confirmed the way the jackal's ears flicked upon hearing their arrival. Turning around she was met face to face with a stranger. She had no clue he was a deserter as well. Just like Isaac Merlo. "Uh sure, I'm fine with that." She said as she glanced at Osiris who nodded in agreement. "Ready when you are then."[break][break]

Osiris respected the hustle. In fact, he was more inclined to honor it with something of his own, since he and his opponent had more in common than originally thought. As his opponent rushed him to engage in CLOSE COMBAT the Lucario met them half way. A blur of fists, kicks, swings, and jabs started off the match on a high not.
