Seeing a friendly face across the field certainly makes Luka feel a bit less nervous. It's so good to see a fellow girlie here! She smiles over at Genevieve and waves, and her Sylveon returns the gesture with a happy wiggle of her ribbons.[break][break]

A friendly face! Wait a second! It's luka chêne! Genny's vibrant and bright, and so exuberant! She's friendly back, waving and jumping into the air.[break][break]

"Glad to see another girly here!" she calls back out with a grin... only to finally accept that she was called cute. The cameras would zoom into her embarrassment, rosy cheeks as she rubbed the back of her head. "Not as cute as you!" She's sheepish, and as Gordo comes out into the ring...[break][break]

She flashes her Dynamax Bracelet to show it off... but decides, for this match, to not use it at all. Much as she wanted to, it put a lot of strain on Gordo. So she puts it away.[break][break]

"Wouldn't dream on it though, Luka. Us girlies have to go all out!" With one flex of her arm to show a lean muscle, Gordo does the same thing from below, the shiny Sandshrew showing off the tiniest speck of maybe muscle.[break][break]

A hand out to Luka. The first move was hers, as Gordo waves to the Sylveon, moving up to hug them, before scurrying away.

“Ehe, that’s true. We do! But if I win, you’ll have to accept that you’re the cutest!” [break][break]

Luka beams across the field, pleased as punch with her little bet. In a battle of girlies uplifting girlies, everyone wins! [break][break]

But it seems the Genny isn’t going to pull out all the stops after all. Isn’t she going to use the dynamax band? Luka would refrain from using her sygna suit to match but, well…to do so would mean taking it off, which doesn’t seem the most prudent option. [break][break]

As she mulls over what to do, both Pokemon are busy winning the crowd over. A soft ‘awwww’ sweeps over the audience as Sylveon and Sandshrew embrace, the former wrapping her ribbons around her opponent to return the gesture. [break][break]

However, this presents a bit of a problem. Sugar doesn’t want to fight her new friend anymore! Luka can sympathize, but what other choice do they have? “It’s okay! We’ll start easy…use psyshock!” [break][break]

Sugar still seems reticent, but eventually launches a beam of psychic energy at the Sandshrew. However, there doesn’t seem to be much oomph behind her attack….

Well this was a conundrum... Gordo really liked Sugar, and despite the fact that they both didn't want to, Gordo pat the Sylveon quietly, as he steps back.[break][break]

A quick strike with PSYSHOCK throws the Sandshrew backwards, but even so, Genny's eyes flash. "Don't worry about it, Gordo! Shake it off, and take'em where you want to take'em!" This meant simply, the start of the SANDSTORM, activating SAND RUSH, and by proxy, allowing Gordo to go faster.[break][break]

All for a quick, but light, ROLLOUT! He had to make sure his new friend fought back![break][break]
