This isn't the right time to get distracted. Even so, Luka can't help herself! She's always been weak to pretty faces, and with pink hair to boot...well, it's a dangerous combination![break][break]

The Sylveon by her side glances up, then tugs at her hand with a winding ribbon. After a moment Luka startles back to reality, blinking down at Sugar with a blank, quizzical look.[break][break]

"Eh? Oh...oh! H-hello!" Her fumbled greeting is accompanied by soft, trilling laughter. "I'm Luka, and you...must be our next match, right?"[break][break]

Of course she is. More nervous giggles float across the field. "Sorry, gosh! What I mean to say is, um...good luck! Let's have a fun match!"

The ribbons, the pink accents, those blue, sparkling eyes! Nabi found herself enamored by the sylveon before her, its trainer equally as pink and girlish. Nabi was in love with her outfit and the silky lengths of her hair. However, her stuttering mouth was an earful, perfect for breaking Nabi out of her trance.[break][break]

"Yep, that's me," Nabi reaffirmed. "And even though you and your sylveon easily win in style points, me and Bruno-" Nabi patted her swampert, "aren't going to hold back. Don't cry to us if we break a leg!"[break][break]

She spoke half-joking, internally hoping that Bruno wasn't going to actually harm the precious sylveon all too much.

She’s getting a lot of mixed messages from this woman, but the compliment is still enough to warm her cheeks with a happy flush. “We won’t, I promise! C’mon Sugar…let’s show off how tough we are!” [break][break]

Her Sylveon yips and leaps onto the field, eager to prove that she’s the full package: both beauty and brawn. Their opponent is much bigger, and certainly more intimidating, but it’s not enough to phase them just yet! [break][break]

“Let’s show this crowd a sparkling good time! Use dazzling gleam!” [break][break]

Sugar’s ribbons start to glow, the roseate light spreading until it’s almost blinding. With a little flourish, sparkling light erupts from her towards the opponent’s Swampert, so bright that Luka almost has to cover her eyes!

Mud! Her worst enemy. Even though she manages to avoid a direct hit, the field is now covered in a layer of sludge. Sugar grimaces as she tries to toe her way around it, but she can't avoid the inevitable muddy paws.[break][break]

"It's okay, Sugar! I'll give you a proper bath after this!"[break][break]

Her Sylveon gives a disgruntled mewl but settles back into an offensive stance. After sizing up her opponent again she conjures a shadow ball, holds it in her ribbons, and gives it a powerful spike. Picking up speed (and with an extra oomph from spite), it goes hurtling towards the Swampert like a volleyball.

Bruno raised his arms to defend against the SHADOW BALL. A mini explosion surged when it thrust against him, causing the swampert to stagger back. He quickly shook his head and regained his senses.[break][break]
