Her skin is crawling with nerves from being out in such a public place. She’s kept to her home. To Shinra’s home. And really little elsewhere. Maybe she’d go out if someone asked it of her, but to willingly step out of hiding for something like this?[break][break]
Blue feels a little crazy to have signed up.[break][break]
All she can call it is an act of rebellion from living like a skittish animal because of Rocket.[break][break]
Something about the man who steps up to her is familiar, though she doesn’t know him well. Or at all. Not in this life, anyway, and she doesn’t really figure she knew him in Hammerlocke, either.[break][break]
She remembers the kind, green eyes, though.[break][break]

Normally, she doesn’t think too hard about it. It was just the name she was given at the orphanage, obviously because of her hair. It was efficient, to the point.[break][break]
“Sure.” Blue nods, and her mightyena bounds forward, shimmering with tera energy.[break][break]
The electricity from the pikachu’s greeting pulsed outward, making Bonnie yelp as she danced around the electricity licking up her paws. She lunges forward, claws outstretched as she attempts to pin Tofu so that she can PLAY ROUGH with him.

Blue nods, approval filtering into her expression—though mildly so. “Good job, Bon. Keep it up.”[break][break]
Eager to please, the canine barks before barreling forward again. The ELECTRO BALL catches her in the flank as she tries to dodge, and another yelp rockets out of her—followed by a growl.[break][break]
Pushing through the static that tries to lock up her limbs, she charges the pikachu in a TAKE DOWN tackle.

[break][break] Ollie knew that Tofu could be competitive, but it had been a long time since they'd fought so long and so often. They weren't young anymore, chasing after a dream in the Kanto circuit. And that lack of endurance had taken a toll on his partner, which was made obvious as Ollie watched him get taken down by a TAKE DOWN attack.

Bonnie was strong this round.[break][break]

“Finish things up, pup.”[break][break]

She’s amped up, Blue can tell from the way that Bonnie bounces on her paws that she’s just waiting to get that last hit in.[break][break]

With a glowing silver tail swung at her with heavy, leaden force, the mightyena ducks around the blow—nimble in the way she rears back on her hind legs. Then she darts in again, jaws clamping down to CRUNCH on the wide part of that very same tail to fling the pikachu away.

[break][break] Ollie bites the inside of his cheek, holding back a sigh of disappointment, as he grabs Tofu's pokeball to return him.

[break][break] However, the Head Ranger is nothing if not a good team player. His smile is effusive and warm as he offers it up to blue murtagh, a hand placed between them to shake.
