[break][break]drizzle fills the vacuum drought leaves behind, dumping cold rain onto her drying clothes, drawing an indignant gasp out of her. she calls out her own charizard — the very one he had given to her as a charmander — and commands it to the skies after him. [break][break]kyogre surfaces briefly, twisting its body in the water in pursuit of MATIAS SILPH . her togekiss fires an aura sphere as the leviathan appears, but it shrugs off the blow. rain hisses against her charizard's leathery wings as they flap into the aura of drought.[break][break]"it really wants you."[break][break]a thoughtful pause.[break][break]"maybe we can lure it out into open water and you can, like, teleport away?"

as they near kyogre, he points his hand toward the small bit of land off to the side, utilizing it to channel his powers deep into the ocean to form an EARTH SPIKE that tries to impale kyogre.[break][break]

[break][break]"don't bring groudon into this," she calls back, her voice catching on the air as her charizard snaps its trajectory away from the island and toward the sea at her command. [break][break]anna was born in hoenn. she knows the legends of the titans. she also knows she doesn't want to see it reenacted. it's only her tie with the elite four member that prevents her from abandoning him to his own stupid devices. [break][break]"smokescreen," she whispers, shielding her nose and mouth with her hand as darkness plumes out in the space between the island and the leviathan rushing towards it. as it breaches the water, her togekiss hits it with fairy wind.
