Usually, this pitch is reserved for exhibition matches. With his tenure as gym leader nearing its end, the sheriff has decided to do more traditional matches that stick strictly to the format laid out by the League’s charter.[break][break] There is no lesson he can teach Thomas that the man doesn’t already know. He’s been here since the beginning, held an Elite Four seat himself, fought for Hoenn.
