Summer, being the fanciful person she was, politely demanded that she and Cade go out for a dinner and perhaps do some sightseeing together while they were out on the town. Just as they had in Sinnoh, Kalos, and Galar...

Oh, she yearned to go back to those days, away from Hoenn and its chaos.

Despite her request for dinner, she didn't reserve them a seat at a fancy five-star restaurant. Instead, she kept it casual for Cade's comfort in the end. She'd end up wearing some elegant dress either way, with the heels to match.

"Cade, is there anywhere around here you want to eat? What strikes your craving?" Summer asked him as they walked down the street, tilting her head up at him to meet his gaze.

DOWNTOWN LILYCOVE was always a splendid sight to behold. Though certainly not as splendid a sight as his dear wife. He walks side-by-side with her, a single hand curled around her waist as they stroll down the neon-colored boulevard.[break][break]

In the time since they'd been married, his taste in clothing had improved. His late wife, MARIA, had been content with allowing him to wear all the leather he wanted— whenever he wanted. Summer Atreides, on the other hand, had opened his eyes to the comfort of silk and other finer garments.[break][break]

This drew her in closer, though. Summer's lips quirked into a gentle smile, barely noticeable to the eye. Perhaps Cade Atreides would catch sight of it.

"Barbeque. Alright. Just be sure to take care of your outfit," she teased, her ROTOM phone flipping out into the air in front of her.

With quick strokes of her finger as she walked, Summer was able to locate a restaurant nearby that matched his request. "A right, up here. It even has upstairs seating outside," she said with interest.

How could one forget ATHENA the CHARCADET, who dutifully kept pace on the other side of the Paldean as they walked along the boardwalk. Cade briefly turned over his shoulder to ensure they hadn't left the little soldier behind. He didn't always allow his Pokémon to accompany him on such dates, but the Fire Child was being trained as a bodyguard.[break][break]

How did his wife feel about using this date as a training exercise? If she had a problem with it, she hadn't said anything. Then again, he hadn't exactly informed her about it either.[break][break]

Turning back ahead to regard her with a smile, the blonde watches as she swiftly pulls out her phone to find them some directions. "You need GPS out here? I thought you knew HOENN like the back of your hand, princesa." He teases with a raise of his brow. "Or perhaps you're just used to nicer places than this."[break][break]

"I know Mauville like the back of my hand. We're new settlers to Lilycove, dear."

As they approached the restaurant, she quirked her lips. "But you're not completely wrong. I'm not complaining about spending time with my dear husband, though."

She reached for his hand, her smaller one clinging to his large fingers as they entered the restaurant. A table for two, sat upstairs on the balcony in a quiet corner. She'd tip the hostess well for seating them there.

"Are you going to get your little companion something to eat? I'm not sure she and I have met yet. You've been gone on business for too long." Placing her elbows on the table and leaning her chin against her hands, Summer smirked.

"How are you going to treat me? I've been left alone for far too long." She truly missed him, each time he went away on a mission or hunt. The fact that she was able to capture his full attention now...

She basked in his presence as if he were her sun.
