It was raining today in the SAFARI ZONE. Usually, Remiel would reschedule a visit under such conditions. Today, however, the crown prince fancied a hike in the rain.[break][break]

The black DRACOVISH he summoned to join him also fancied one. BAAL was large and imposing but acted like a small child, running about and splashing in every puddle he could find. The thumping of his feet was sure to attract the attention of wild creatures in the area, however...[break][break]

A rather naughty WOOBAT seemed determined to capture Baal’s attention. For what reason, however, Remiel could not fathom. Nevertheless, it followed them for some time before making one fatal mistake.[break][break]

The Dracovish was used to being oblivious to most things. When the small bat grew frustrated and cried out for him to KNOCK OFF with its obliviousness, however, she ended up getting exactly what she wanted. With one strike of its IRON HEAD, the Woobat was sent flying away.[break][break]

The Dracovish seems wholly interested in playing with the ROOKIDEE it finds fluttering about. The Rookidee, in the meantime, seems annoyed by its attempts to chase it around. Nevertheless, it doesn't fly away.[break][break]

Was this just another challenge to the bird? Was it TAUNTING Baal? Whatever its true motives were, it doesn't expect the DRACO METEOR that comes its way shortly thereafter. When the dust clears, Remiel casts a Luxury Ball to capture it.[break][break]

The ALOMOMOLA sails through the ocean happily as Remiel watches from afar. Baal attempts to step into the sea but is immediately rebuffed by a large wave. Before long, he decides venturing forward is not worth it.[break][break]

For the best, Remiel thinks. The Dracovish would have very easily been outpaced anyway. With a chirp and a wave, he gestures for the beast to follow him as they proceed deeper into the Safari Zone.[break][break]

A curious little PETILIL follows them on the trail for some time. Whenever they turn to regard it, however, it simply stares back. Almost as if saying 'AFTER YOU'.[break][break]

Baal, however, misreads the gesture. Instead, the dumb Dracovish charges forward with an IRON HEAD before knocking it out. Remiel sighs as he pulls out the Luxury Ball in his pack, then casts it down to capture the Petilil.[break][break]

The APPLIN is ASTONISHED to find a Dracovish chasing it through the forest. As it desperately hops away, Baal attempts to take a few snaps at it. Eventually, the dragon succeeds in capturing it with a STRONG JAW.[break][break]

Before the creature can crush the Applin with PSYCHIC FANGS, however, Remiel intercepts them. He casts a Luxury Ball to save the smaller dragon from its grim fate. It disappears in a flash of golden light.[break][break]

They find the DITTO under a rock that Baal has flipped over with its teeth. Startled, it awakens and hastily TRANSFORMS into a doppelganger of the Dracovish. But this transformation is faulty. It almost immediately falls over onto its side.[break][break]

Baal, of course, takes that opportunity to descend upon it with a STOMPING TANTRUM. In the chaos, Remiel manages to pull out an empty Luxury Ball and save the Ditto before it succumbs. In a flash of golden light, it is stolen from Baal's fury.[break][break]
