Oh, Delilah must have absolutely hated the sound of that. [break][break]

The donkey huffed with agitation and bounded on ahead as a Magcargo slithered it's way out from behind a rocky outcropping near the southern entrance to the desert. With a furious bray, Delilah plowed her way through the Pokemon with a HIGH HORSEPOWER, and the Magcargo was sent flying off into the direction of the whirling sands, [break][break]

“Oh come on! Just 'cause ya don't like the idea doesn't mean ya gotta be a bitch about it!” Eddie bellowed after her, breaking into a jog to try and catch up.

A pair of insectoid eyes peered out at the two of them from a patch of nearby grass, emerging with a the clattering of prehistoric claws. Delilah brayed in annoyance and BULLDOZE'd her way through the wild Armaldo, [break][break]

“Alright, fine, geeze! No tattoos, I get it!” Eddie huffed in annoyance, stepping around the KO'd Bug-type. There was no winning with Delilah, was there?

Sometimes he really didn't know when to stop pushing his luck. This time, though, Delilah stopped in her tracks, turning to face Eddie with a look that could only be described as abject confusion. There was another flicker of movement in the grass nearby that went unnoticed by both the trainer and his Pokemon, [break][break]

“Kinda thought about gettin' my ears pierced back when I was a kid. 'Course, Mom was horrified when I asked her about it.” [break][break]

Eddie paused. Well, technically his ears weren't the only things he'd thought about getting pierced all those years ago, but Delilah didn't need to know that, [break][break]

“But hell, doubt I'm gonna be seein' her anytime soon. I dunno, could be fun!” [break][break]

In a brilliant flash of red light, Delilah recalled herself back into the Poke Ball at Eddie's waist. The conversation was over, it appeared. With an exasperated sigh, Eddie shoved his hands into his pockets and started the trek towards the next route; maybe he could win her over eventually?
