Zachary felt like the odd one out, partly due tot he fact he was new to here. He was now part in the great expedition of the Caverns that led to Area Zero. One part of him was excited, another part worried-- and another part amazed by the other worldly potential here. But he didn't know anyone else in this place. The best company he had was his Pokemon, as his Delphox and Kirlia kept close. Dizzy was best for combat while Kirlia was a skilled healer. He was doing his part. [break][break] Still, Zachary felt lonely as he didn't know anyone else in the group. But the thrill to explore the unknown was strong in Zachary, and not in short amount due to being a psychic Pokemon trainer. Zachary regarded the dark skinned guy as perhaps the leader, or seemed to be. He had the charisma of it, but still Zachary kept silent and focused. They were on a mission to explore this place after all... Then again, Zachary was the type to take things too seriously. [break][break][break][break]

Zachary sighed as he walked on with the rest-- of course not knowing one of his teammates was live-streaming this for others to see. Who did that during an excursion into a potentially dangerous place? He didn't judge though and did his part in observing the surrounding area. But how would he know the Porygon was actually a living camera too? [break][break] Suddenly while Zachary was distracted by the distant crystal formations that looked like stars-- the big buff guy in the front swung by and held on to his shoulders in a friendly embrace. The closeness was a bit alarming and uneasy as soon Ozni started to share with his viewers about him. On camera, Zachary looked flustered and surprised to be on a live stream like this. He was asked to talk about himself. "Um... Hi? I'm Zachary. Aspiring trainer and my dream is to become a Gym Leader. Someday... anyway... Um, and also to explore the unknown like these places and um..." he was clearly getting flustered by the camera fright.[break][break] A growl came as Porygon panned to the Delphox with Zachary. The angry glare from the fox made it clear that he was defensive of his trainer. The fox came up and pressed a paw at the 'camera', clearly not thinking it was appropriate. [break][break] Zachary turned to the 'cool' hip guy, who he had to admit-- was pretty slick and fun looking. "Um, so who are you and what are you doing here anyway? Besides trying to get more viewers?" Zachar replied but soon saw the markings in the cave. [break][break] Dizzy raised his torch and illuminated the area, and Kirlia looked around too, curious and on alert. Something fiery had indeed been here, as he observed the marks, and the glow of the crystals around them. "There must be something big. Or perhaps someone else from above came down here and this is their mess. Either way we should maybe focus-- or do you intend to have your pokemon record our bloody demise like in some 1'st person horror flick? " Zachary replied sarcastically. [break][break] Dizzy gave a similar sarcastic glare at Ozni, as if to second the sarcasm. He was a fox after all. [break][break][break][break]

Call it intuition, but Zachary felt this guy wasn't taking him very seriously. His comment suggested humoring him, which Zachary didn't appreciate. He now was glad Dizzy pushed away the camera. Dizzy cast a growl at the dark skinned trainer/celebutant. Zachary at least was there to explore-- to learn about this amazing place. ANd this guy was just there to take pictures and raise his popularity. He really hated that kind of trend and this guy was just fueling the fire. [break][break] "Don't you think this is not the time OR place to be working on your social media streaming? We are in the middle of a proprietary, hazardous area full of Mew-knows-what Pokemon and whatever else is out here. Do you want this to end like the movie "Cloverfield"?" Zachary said, referring to a scary first-person view movie he saw. .[break][break] The guy formally introduced himself as Ozni-- CEO of Adebyo Industries. His eyes widened at that-- that was his mother's competitor. Zachary kept it quiet for now. He glanced away, as his mother worked R&D of many technologies, but as a consultant too as she made new cutting edge pokegear. Further, he was showing off his goods to the camera. THe man was a media **** from the sound of it. "Well, I see a good tool right about now..." Zachary grumbled under his breath. With his big ears, Dizzy heard it-- and snickered with a paw covering his mussel. [break][break] It was getting warm there. And not just cause of the fyre type Tera crystals. As Ozi let out his Jotic, Zachary clinched at it. He too had a bad habit of being afraid of bugs, but he had to admit, the Joltic was cute. [break][break] "There is a chance the Area Zero portals in this area can be connected to something more... volcanic? It's always possible, or we are near a Pokemon who radiates great heat..." Zachary thought aloud as he recorded the data from their surroundings for those back at camp. At least HE was doing his job. [break][break] A scary thought occurred to Zachary however. Certain Pokemon were known to emerge from here. Legendary even... [break][break] A pokemon who would generate an insane amount of heat. [break][break] It couldn't be... but would a Groudon show up here...? [break][break] "We probably shouldn't stay too long..." Zachary said as he looked around, nervous if his imagination really did get the better of him. [break][break][break][break]

He was an idiot! That was the only thing that could run through Zachary's mind at his laza-fair attitude. Well, that may of been an exaggeration, but the league was serious about the dangers and wonders of this place. Sure you could take pictures, but this was like some kind of celebrity on a thrill ride. His sense of responsibility seemed nil at best. Zachary felt the urge to hit him for it but kept his cool. The best he could do was give him a stupefied look. Dizzy just leered at the playboy, the Delphox not amused by his behavior.[break][break] Zachary didn't know he was being observed and commented on. This would of killed him if he knew. and if he did, he would of trashed the Porygon that acted like a camera. It would of humiliated him. "You know, you're just a jerk and I am not about to let you talk to me like--" [break][break] Zachary stopped as he soon saw the beast before Ozni did. Zachary rose up slowly, seeing the giant horn of the beast glow with fiery energy-- even as the beast slept. It was amazing-- and likely Ozni would die if he reacted badly. [break][break] Both Dizzy and Kirlia were silent but alarmed as Zachary rose up. "Okay, Ozni... slowly step away from it. Do not make a sound or any sudden movements and Get. Over. Here. " Zachary said with a soft but firm hiss to get it through the playboy's head. If they got close enough, Kirlia could teleport them back to the base camp before the Gourging Fire woke up. [break][break] Dizzy stared daggers at the dark skinned rich boy, silently urging the guy to get away from it. The Joltic however scurried away from Oznai and closer to Zachary and his Pokemon. Dizzy paid it no mind, but Zachary flinched-- the little bug getting closer and closer to him. [break][break] He took a step back-- and some rock crumbled under his feet, making a crackle of gravel sound. Zachary froze-- not wanting to make any more sound to rouse the beast. [break][break][break][break]

There was no reason to panic! They just had to slowly retreat. They got the data, spotting such a beautiful and terrifying pokemon. Now they just had to get out alive. Zachary gestured silently to get to him and Kirlia. He began to move away slowly while that Joltik continued to tempt fate near the beast... and then... [break][break] BZZZT! BZZZT! The rich bastard's phone went off! Seriously, Zachary thought, that moron had his phone and tech all on that he would get a call at the worst time! And then Gorging Fire arose. [break][break] "You IDIOT!" Zachary just outright shouted as Gouging Fire roared, announcing it was fully awake and had sights on Ozni. [break][break] The Gourging Fire started to rouse and prepare to attack as the fool ran for the cave entrance. Kirlia gave a cry to stop, but he didn't listen as the beast began to pounce towards him, threatening to claw at him! [break][break] "Dizzy!!" Zachary shouted, and his Delphox acted without further words. The fox's eyes glowed violet with power. [break][break] Gouging Fire jumped-- but suddenly paused in mid air. The same aura surrounded the wild Pokemon, catching him in mid air. The big dragon-lion looked in shock, unable to see what had a hold on him. Dizzy soon used his psychic power to throw him away, sending the dragon back to his den with a crash. However, the jolt risked some rocks to fall-- if any blocked the cave, they would be in trouble. [break][break] "Get over here now! If you wanna get out of here alive, just get to Kirlia! " Zachary shouted, trying to keep Ozni from doing anything more stupid. [break][break] The Gouging Fire dug himself out from the rubble easily, now glistening with a fiery, crystalized shell. The phanominon was unusual, but Zachary had no time to process it. If they didn't do something, that Pokemon would cook them alive! If Oznai would stop jerking around and get to Kirlia-- they could all teleport out and get back to the camp in an instant. [break][break][break][break]

Ozni used his Porygon to at least defend himself but that wasn't going to stop the Gourging Fire. They had now really pissed it off as Oznai FINALLY got to where Zachary was. With rather odd word choice, he took a hold of Kirlia-- probably a bit too strong for the little Pokemon. There wasn't time to recall their pokemon and only hoped the jerk was touching his Porygon as well as him doing the same. [break][break] Zachary took a firm hold of Dizzy, and soon to Kirlia-- just as Goruging Fire began to inhale.[break][break] An Inferno Attack![break][break] "Kirlia! Get us out of here NOW!" Zachary cried with urgency as he took hold of the little Pokemon's small arm. Kirlia understood well and more so cared for his trainer and friends. With a squeak of urgency itself-- Kirlia focused, and glowed with a multi-colored aura. That same aura shined over all of them that touched it. [break][break] The Inferno soon erupted, waves of flames now rushing towards them. Just as it was a couple meters away, the party's form shimmered-- and then vanished as in a flash, they vanished. The blaze consumed the cave, followed by a vengeful roar from the Gouging Fire. [break][break]

[break][break] In the blink of an eye, their settings changed, and soon Zachary found himself back at the familiar grounds of the camp. Kirlia had teleported them all back to safety, the camp to their backs. Lucky for them, none of them was hit by the fire-- well, maybe Ozni's pants were a little on fire for being such an impulsive jerk. [break][break] A heavy sigh escaped Zachary as he looked around. "Is everyone alright?" Zachary asked, looking over to make sure everyone was there. Dizzy gave a positive bark, the Delphox more now just running a paw over its fur to 'clean himself'. The Kirlia however knelt down, tired. Teleporting multiple people always took a toll on a Psychic type. Zachary soon knelt down to it, easily patting to ease its exhaustion. "Thank you, Kirlia. I know that was a lot of work. I hope you know how much I appreciate it." he said. To which, Kirlia looked up and gave a reassuring smile and chirp. [break][break] Glad to see everyone was okay-- Zachary turned to Ozni, and glared daggers at him. If he was still filming over all this, Zachary might break his camera himself. His reckless showboating almost gotten them all killed! [break][break][break][break]
