He was a little dismayed to see that the Hydreigon and the Froslass astride its back had retreated—but no sooner had he let out a sigh of relief… well, someone had decided to crank up the winter tide to eleven (quite literally) and began to coat the entire place in a Hail of freezing Blizzard.[break][break]

He had almost lost count of how many times the dang attack had triggered, but if they didn’t stop this the entire place would be literally buried in ‘snow’ at that point! Whistling to the rest of his avian army, the mass of Flying and non-Flying types converge at his location, and after careful deliberation…[break][break]

Well, looks like someone’s not going to stand for this injustice either![break][break]

Grinning a bit as he saw that the winter storm was cancelled out by a sudden blast of water, he gets an idea. Quickly scanning the crowd of avians and non-avians, he quickly picks out a Swanna, a Pelipper, his trusty Noivern, and—even if he was a little wary about it—his Gyarados.[break][break]

“Cygne, Mike, Fen—Hera. Look. See that Rain Dance? Can you all, like, aim your Hurricane attacks when you go there? Like. Focus them all on a single powerful burst, and then try to drive back whoever the hell is trying to raise Elsa’s castle and give us eternal winter. After you do that, get out of there—we’re here to support whoever dropped that big-ass Thunder attack around the place,” he says to the four.[break][break]

Hanging back near the parapets, he watches as the four eager Pokémon fly into the pouring, torrential rain—before witnessing something truly beautiful unfold. [break][break]

Normally the Pokémon he owned would squabble and bicker a lot, but seeing as there was a common turf that had to be defended, the four gathered their energies, and began to conjure up one hell of a Hurricane vortex. Seeing that the four Flying-type attacks were now converging, he gives one sharp blast of a whistle—and it’s released.[break][break]

The powerful vortex of air rushes forward, in an attempt to collide with the cold, surging wind brought by the Blizzard—hopefully, to propel it back in the direction where it had come from.[break][break]

“Clear out!” he calls once the deed is done, and the four Flying-types then back off, circling closer to where he now commands them from the skies.

[attr="class","spiral"]what happens when water meets temperatures below freezing? it turns into ice. the RAIN DANCE is telegraphed by the sudden rain clouds above and fernando does nothing to stop it. he doesn't need to. the chilling atmosphere of several BLIZZARDS have already had their impact on the weather. the minute the water starts to fall they shift into ice. the rain clouds are overwritten by the glaceon's HAIL. weather wars are fought and won on more factors than a single move. in this case, it's several.

the ELECTRIC TERRAIN is a fearsome beast. it reminds him of verdanturf and kyle's concerns about not being able to match silas are now considered null and void. fernando expects a follow up electric attack and calls for the LIGHT SCREEN. a translucent veil of an orange barrier covers his team in response.

the WATER SPOUT drenches the field and the copious weight of water coming down on them is felt by the powerful blow. the LIGHT SCREEN mitigates what it can and the water becomes frigid as it swarms the sand and trespasses on the ongoing BLIZZARD. the glalie and abomasnow are quick to revert their footing. water spells disaster and they will not let the terrain revolve around their opponent's request. a FREEZE DRY SHEER COLD turns water into ice and the transition is violent and instant, ice jutting out of any instance of exposed water, fernando finding himself standing behind his ice pokemon and PROTECTED by his bronzong.

THUNDER rains from above with a CHARGED fervor. the electricity cracks the very air it splits, a resounding boom erupting from the attack's name sake. fernando's bronzong does its best to PROTECT him from the discharge while his other pokemon are not so lucky. the abomasnow's grass typing helps resist the attack naturally but the others will feel the blow. their aptitude for keeping the field in their favor, saturated in ice rather than water, dampens the full possible effect of the attack should his plan have gone without resistance. his glalie sits behind a well rounded PROTECT but the others are not so lucky. their SNOW CLOAKS allow them to hide and maneuver in the HAIL with impunity but the impact of the THUNDER spreads out indiscriminately, catching them when it spreads in a frenzied DISCHARGE.

a spectacular series of attacks truly fit for a character who's trounced hoenn's gyms and sits on the throne of hoenn's elite four. fernando smiles to himself, content with the show of force, and is about to retaliate when another combatant paints themselves as a target.

while alexei takes the time to pick out his pokemon, command them with a lengthy explanation after the THUNDER strikes, fernando's pokemon have long prepared to retaliate. the sight of four eager pokemon flying into the pouring, torrential HAIL makes them an immediate target for fernando's artillery. the porygon has a primed LOCK-ON and answers their intrusion with a precise ZAP CANNON. the ELECTRIC TERRAIN only bolsters the attack's power as the beam of pure electricity fires from an angle that takes into account the DOWNLOADED calculations of the pokemon's potential flight paths and likely evasive manuevers. the much larger gyarados is the primary target, fernando's porygon familiar with the pokemon species and its inherent weakness to anything electric. if they will come from the skies then he'll clip their wings.

the culmination of their efforts, should they continue after the ZAP CANNON, results in a tremendous HURRICANE. the temperature of the winds and their resounding fury create a flurry of ICY WIND, swirling in a vortex that hits the cold front of fernando's BLIZZARD. the HURRICANE drives it back but cannot eliminate the weather outright. HAIL persists and the temperatures has already descended. HURRICANE is powerful and on par with BLIZZARD but one attack is launched while another is maintained. which one wins over time? the consistent one.

alexeis' pokemon begin to back off but there's a price to pay for coming in close enough to attack. bronzong's BLOCK layers itself on top of the pokemon's IMPRISON and escaping the mystical force field becomes a task in itself. anyone within range of the BLIZZARD, IMPRISON, and HAIL is subjected to stay. if they're pokemon, anyway.

now that their enemies are all gathered up, there's no one better to swoop in to deliver punishment than —

kyle did not really need the rain as much as the thunderclouds overhead. anything that aids his manectric's attack to get as much firepower as possible is enough.

drapion applies another acupressure on the manectric, increasing its special defense this time. it helps it withstand the cold at least, enabling it to fire more attacks before it succumbs to the constant blizzards.

kyle isn't sure how many pokemon he was facing, but he knows this is a war of attrition.

he sends out his espeon, letting it reside on his arcanine's back. "operation raid boss, wil." having been stimulated for multiple enhancements from the drapion's earlier usages of acupressure, the fire-type races to the source of the attacks with extreme speed, the espeon on his back clinging on for her dear life.

electric terrain expands the range of his manectric's lightning rod. although aimed perfectly, the manectric's presence steers the attacks away from the original trajectory to him, powering him up once more for the next attack while it charges.

a howl sounds as the arcanine arrives at where the water spout froze. the sudden stop translates the arcanine's momentum to a powerful bulldoze, breaking the ice into splinters and shards while shaking everyone else. the espeon's entire purpose for tagging along was to maintain a reflect and a light screen for the fire-type.

having her unknowingly deflect the block with magic bounce was just a side-effect.

"now."

the manectric fires another thunder of the same, if not stronger, intensity at the same location of the earlier strike. the arcanine, while being in the radius of its effects, resists with the light screen and the earlier boosts from the acupressure.

kyle lets the jellicent shield both him and @bryony against the cold winds from the other side's blizzard. it constantly uses pain split and recover to keep it and the manectric topped off.

She had every intention of aiding in this crazy war - she really did. Approaching on her dragonair with a firm faced expression and crossed arms, she was ready to slam dunk some fool and make them regret choosing the losing side. Bwue Wions always win after all.

"kill every last one of them!" she wasn't sure where the urge to say the words came from, but, it felt right.

But the moment she saw the tangle of attacks and utter chaos, she paused, staring for several moments before turning around, heading back to the Hyacinth base.

"My work here is done."

with all the chaos happening and dawn being out of the radius of FERNANDO SILPH's imprison. dawn, with his drifblim, casually wandered into the base from the back. inside he'd look around, with a casual smile, "nice!" he commented. he'd turn to drifblim, and said, "here."

it was a sad departure but it was for the greater good. with tears shedding, dawn scampered off together with natu, as per usual, casually perched atop of his head. he ran and didn't look back, erratically apologizing, "i'm sorry! i'm sorry! i'm sorry! i'm sorry!"

once dawn was out of the way, he'd take cover. drifblim, then, EXPLODED within the building.

Isra whistles as she watches, her pokemon turning their heads towards her because it's not a command they recognize because it isn't one at all.

Watching the conglomeration of moves all coming together at once is almost chilling, setting her skin on edge as she watches. She can almost feel the force of it in the air and it makes her grin from ear to ear. How delightful a display. She can only wish she had been at the center of it add to it but being so far off to the edge she feels it inappropriate to intervene. No this is something she is to watch play out now instead.

Seems like the action was still ongoing here. A complete warfare, as one would expect from a zone called the Warfront. Finally, something thrilling to take part in. A challenging and endearing moment. And soon, one more opponent will swoop in, to try and take advantage of the chaos and craziness of this battlefield.[break][break]

A Braviary flew over the combatants, scouting the skies over the canary warfront. It didn't take long for it to come down, some distance away from the main fights. An armored man descended from the back of the giant eagle and began to stare at the battlefield. One word to describe it all? Madness. The ideal field to test the capacity of his team in dangerous situations.[break][break]

Balder pulled out two pokeballs from his armored coat, releasing the two pokemons enclosed within them: Geo the Alolan Golem and Simon, the Excadrill. "Alright guys, time to cause more chaos on the battlefield. Remember: Kill every last one of them... Actually no, don't kill them. But hurt them good. Make them regret opposing the Hyuntails."[break][break]

Geo, Simon and Falco nodded before getting into position. Simon raised a Sandstorm to cover all the fighters on the warfront, while Geo began to send pointy floating rocks around the field thanks to the move Stealth Rock. In the meantime, Falco began to use Hone Claws, sharpening her claws as she prepares her assault.[break][break]
