Thea has around 170cm of height, with hazel eyes that have an intense gaze in them, and a slightly lean body that reflects her martial arts training. Her blonde hair is long, going all the way down to her waist, but she generally keeps it tied on ponytails, side ponytails or braids, depending on the circumstances. She has a firm posture that sometimes may make her look a bit stiff, but this impression easily fades away whenever she engage in an activity, moving smoothly and having precise movements. In casual or informal situations, she likes to wear baggy and tomboy clothes, and will generally be a bit loose about dress codes in places like Schools or Part-time Jobs, with her father's dojo being an exception. In formal occasions, she likes to dress herself elegantly, and drifts away from her tomboy fashion to replace for fancy dresses, but if she is in a particular mood, she will be dressing a suit without thinking twice.[break][break]

But overall, despite having a established fashion style, she doesn't feel uncomfortable wearing anything out of her usual choices, and she doesn't mind going out of her way to dress something differently because of a friend or an occasion that requires something else. She may be a little sheepish about it, however.[break][break]

Being very expressive, Thea doesn't hide her feelings even when she doesn't fully understands them, voicing and expressing them in any way she can, even using the first explanations that come into her mind. This also comes with a honest and blunt way to be, and she can be someone that assumes a lot of things about someone right away, but she tries to not sound mean about it, being more objective and straightforward when voicing an opinion. Her usual behavior may make her feel like someone that is hasty, but she is in fact very patient (until she explodes). She has a certain degree of discipline and focus thanks to her growing up in her father's dojo, but the 'discipline' only goes as far as she agrees with the rules.[break][break]

She has a soft spot for cute things, beauty, and hardworking individuals that are willing to learn. She dislikes anyone that invades another's freedom and absolutely hates injustice, especially to innocents.[break][break]

Backstory[break][break]

When younger, Thea has always been a troublemaker. Filled with curiosity, she couldn't stand to stay in Slateport City, wandering off to Route 110 and 109 every time she could, meddling with wild Pokémons and trying to befriend them, and in all her naivety, it wasn't rare for her to come home scratched, or for her to be rescued by nearby Rangers, including her mom, that worked as a Ranger at the time.[break][break]

With both of her parents being unable to completely keep a watch on her, eventually Thea's mother brought back home an orphan Igglybuff, that had been rescued from an illegal storage, and had developed an attachment to Thea's mother. With the Igglybuff as Thea's company, her parents could be relieved, as the small Pokémon, albeit not particularly strong, had the right abilities to keep danger away from their daughter while she ventured around the City and its outskirts.[break][break]

Having her first Pokémon, Thea was eager to play around with her, naming the Igglybuff 'Gominha' and showing her off to everyone, dressing her up and trying to make her as fancy and cute as possible... Which thankfully, the Igglybuff seemed to enjoy.[break][break]

The newfound excitement about her pokémon only grew when her father's dojo, in an attempt to promote it, decided to join Pokémon Battle Tournaments and Contests to showcase their abilities. Thea decided to go watch them with her mother, to support her father and his coworkers. The battle tournaments were a success, as for the contest, while they haven't managed to get the first place of the public, they certainly had the first place in Thea's heart. The little Thea fell in love with their battles, and the presentation that showed that strength and power could also be beautiful in its own way.[break][break]

Determined, she decided to join the dojo her father practiced and worked on, all while her mother decided to step down as a ranger to get on an officer career. In the dojo, she not only trained her Igglybuff, but also herself, and her efforts were rewarded by her father, that decided to gift her a Mankey, naming him 'Zeus'. Her Igglybuff and her Mankey engaged in a friendly rivalry, and as they practiced, Igglypuff evolved to Jigglypuff, becoming stronger just like Thea was becoming stronger herself.[break][break]

However, one day an unexpected event changed Thea's life abruptly. Team Rocket attacked Slateport City, and the usual peaceful everyday was disrupted mercilessly. Thea's mother reacted to the emergency immediately, as soon as it was clear what was happening, while Thea's father did what he could to help to evacuate any neighbor, people and any pokémon that could be around, including Thea.[break][break]

Seeing her mother would stay behind, Thea didn't accept that so easily, sneaking away and darting off to try to find her at any costs, with Gominha and Zeus following her.[break][break]

Thea only got herself into trouble when she got lost in the middle of the chaos, and eventually had to face a situation of a Minccino trying to escape a Team Rocket's Krookodile. Despite the numerical advantage, Krookodile easily intimidated the group with a Dragon Tail move, knocking both of Thea's pokémon away. Zeus tried to recover, and despite having the type advantage, he found difficult to fend off the opponent, while Minccino was still shocked and hiding near Thea while the battle unfolded. Gominha, that was knocked away further thanks to her bouncy body, didn't feel too strained about the attack, but instead of insisting in the battle, she fled to try to find Thea's mother or father.[break][break]

The pokémon battle developed poorly, with Mankey being knocked away once again and struggling to stand. Thea found herself in trouble, and without thinking twice, she shielded Zeus and the Minccino with her own body, getting herself thrown against a wall and getting enjured. Zeus mustered strength out of pure adrenaline, and in an unexpected turn of events, he roared in his Primeape evolution, charging with Fury Swipes that threw the Krookodile off balance. Seeing the situation becoming critical, and the other pokémon fighting against all the odds, Minccino finally engaged, following up with a Helping Hand for Zeus to finish the battle with a devasting Cross Chop.[break][break]

Zeus fell out of exhaustion, and Thea couldn't move properly after taking a blow from an adult pokémon, and all they had was the lost Minccino to keep an eye on them. Eventually, Gominha and Thea's father got to them in time to catch her and escape the city... But Thea's mother wasn't found ever since...[break][break]

Two years passed, and there was no signs or news of Thea's mother whereabouts. The presumption of the worst outcome was ultimately accepted, but it didn't make moving on any easier. Thea herself never got over it, and she still believed her mother was still around, somewhere. If anything, at least knowing what exactly happened to her became something that haunted her mind. Her pure naivety faded, even if her curiosity was still there, but the whole situation left her weak willed and uncertain of what she truly wanted.[break][break]

Through these two years, Thea, her father, their pokémons and the new member of the roster: Belle, the Minccino, lived as refugees and moved in with Thea's extended family. It took a while, but eventually Thea and her father returned to Slateport City. The City was liberated for reconstruction, and there was a lot of work to do: Rebuild their houses, check the dojo, help old and new neighbors to settle.[break][break]

Returning to her hometown proved to be essential for Thea's recovery. A sense of nostalgia mixed with the reminders of her passion cheered her up, along with new faces that showed up, and even her cousin that moved in with them, giving her a bigger sense of responsibility. Her determination only grew when her father took over his master's dojo, since they had retired for good. Thea helped to rebuild it, and engaged even more into her training, and no matter how many other chaotic situations happened in Slateport City, Thea remained firm and determined. If anything, after everything that had happened, she wished to make her father... And her mother... proud.[break][break]

Sometimes she engages in his shenanigans, hardly trying to change his mind since she thinks it is impossible, and currently she helps to look after him now that he lives with her and her father. • Cassandra Kubrick, Best Friend. Initially 'the friend of my cousin', Thea slowly got closer to Cassandra. Her intelligence never fails to baffle Thea, that for some reason had the impression that she would have ordinary grades. • Gominha, Wigglytuff. She is Thea's first pokémon, given to her as an Igglybuff when she was still a kid. Gominha is Sassy natured, and loves to fuel fire into situations, especially to tease Zeus. She is also Thea's favorite Pokémon, and she knows it very well, willing to abuse of this position to receive treats and extra affection. • Zeus, Primeape. He is Thea's her second pokémon, being adopted as a Mankey when she started getting into practicing martial arts, an idea of her father for her to get a sparring buddy and a company for Gominha. Zeus is Brave and has a short temper, but he has a soft spot for Belle and is loyal to Thea, being overprotective for both of them. For Gominha, he considers her an annoying rival. • Belle, Minccino. She is Thea's third pokémon, being one of the pokémon Thea and Zeus saved during Team Rocket's takeover in Slateport City. Belle is Gentle, and she loves to help anyone as soon as she notices they are troubled. Is well mannered in general, but when nobody is watching her, she proves to be a glutton and will eat anything laying around. • Favoured Pokémons types are Normal-type, Fighting-type, and Fairy-type

• There are no Pokémon types she dislikes, and is willing to train any pokémon type. She feels mildly unsettled by Ghost-type Pokémons, but she enjoys the challenge of battling against one, since they make her think outside of the box due to her typical Pokémon roster.

• She has Claustrophobia and is terrified of the idea of being ambushed by a pokémon that could restrain her or get her locked in an enclosed space. Because of this, she fears pokémons like Cofagrigus or Victreebel.

• She firmly believes that Sudowoodo is a Grass-type Pokémon and that everyone is lying. Any attempt to convince her otherwise is in vain. If she gets confronted with too many arguments and proofs, she will settle with Sudowoodos being both a Grass-type and a Rock-type Pokémon (but she doesn't believe it, she just settles with it to pacify the argument). If even then someone insists to prove her that Sudowoodo is only a Rock-type, she will give this person a silent treatment and won't continue the discussion no matter what they do.

• Thea loves spicy food the most, sweet the second. Her least favourite are bitter foods, but she isn't picky and enjoy them as well, especially if it is dark chocolate. Her favorite foods are Mapo Tofu and Chili Dog.

• She loves to dress her pokémon up as a hobby. On top of that, she loves reading, cooking, jogging, and outdoors activities like camping, fishing, hiking, photography and etc...

• Loves to watch Pokémon Contests and Battles, but her personal objectives are: Showing the world that strength and beauty can work together, making her pokémon be the prettiest and strongest of 'em all, becoming someone her mother would be proud. However, she isn't fully sure of what career she would take to achieve such dreams.

• Her desire to do and be so many things at once is her biggest weakness. "Grasp all, lose all". On top of staggering her in indecisions, and eventual hesitations.

• Thea likes to have things under her control and doesn't work well on pressure. In pressure, it is better to have someone else to tell her what to do.

• Doesn't have a "catch 'em all" mindset. Instead, she prefers to bond with the few Pokémons she have, which may disrupt her competitive flexibility. This may also translate into her relationships (be platonically or romantic), where she is easy to be in friendly terms, but actually becoming close to her may take a little longer. The only exception to this rule are bottle caps. She loves to collect those and wants to catch 'em all.
