"Cute and strong is the best combo." Knight remarked and winked at Gominha -- who was definitely the cutest and strongest. He chuckled as she pouted when Thea talked about Pawmo's hair tuft. He shook his head, "Everyone knows that Gominha-hime has the best hair tuft!" [break][break]
He scooted closer to he could pet it a few times if Gominha allowed it.[break][break]
Thea suggested another name and Knight nodded, "Hammy is nice! As for my Falinks... I'm not sure yet. I shall have to check my book later and pick something from there." He gasped, "Do you want to look through the book too?"[break][break]
Just as Knight was about to slip his school-bag from his shoulder to take out said book, a streak of something zoomed past. It cut through the air with ease, and Perrin let out a caw of surprise, diving to avoid getting hit. Knight squinted up at the sky, but it was hard to pinpoint what Pokémon it had been. It seemed to be gone now. [break][break]
At the same time, a Machop appeared from their left. It seemed to be walking along but doing some karate stuff at the same time? At least, that's what it looked like to Kay. The Pokémon had such a serious expression that he had to fight back the urge to laugh (and was slowly losing). He looked at Thea to distract himself, "Is that 'mon doing karate...?"

Gominha puffed herself and leaned in to Knight's affection, tapping her feet a couple times in joy. "Right? Her little tuft is adorable. No one has a more beautiful tuft than her." The shower of compliments only inflated Gominha's ego more, while she pretty much glued on Knight to get a bit more of the petting.[break][break]

"Personal space, Gominha." Thea warned despite chuckling, continuing to move, though the sudden blurr zooming through and making the bushes and leaves shake startled Thea and her Pokémon for a moment, and she lifted her guard while looking around until she spotted the flying Pokémon far, far away. "So fast... Is everyone okay?" She asked, looking around. Zeus nodded firmly, and Belle that immediately hid behind him, peeked her head out, nodding sheepishly. Gominha had inflated the double of her size by accident, but hopefully didn't bounce Knight away with it.[break][break]

"Huh... Karate..?" Thea blinked, and after making sure everyone was okay, she approached to look at the Machop... That shape... That form... That precision.[break][break]

Thea was in awe. How such a young Pokémon in the wild, had such a good understanding on Martial Arts techniques and was managing it so smoothly?! It took years for Thea to teach Zeus how to not falter in his katas, and here it was, a younger Pokémon doing it all by themselves! How?![break][break]

Her eyes sparkled, fiery. She wanted to challenge them! She wanted to practice with them! And as soon as they were done doing their karate stuff. "Bravo, bravo!" Thea beamed, approaching the Machop that turned to her. "That was amazing, truly amazing. I've never seen such a beautiful form coming from such a young Pokémon. I am truly impressed!" She bowed to Machop. "Are you—" When she rose her head again, the Machop was no longer there.[break][break]

Machop has fled from the Encounter.[break][break]

Knight also missed where the Machop had disappeared off to but the smiled at Thea, "Pretty neat 'mon." He continued on walking but didn't really make an effort to look for new Pokémon.[break][break]
Perring alerted to another Pokémon nearby and Knight went to investigate, swearing off to the right and through some bushes, "Oh! Thea, look!" He grinned at the sight of the Pignite and Timburr having a strength contest. Timburr lifted a boulder with ease and then Pignite did the same. Knight's eyes sparkled at the sight of the fire and fighting type. He wanted that one![break][break]
"Perrin, hit it with a fury attack!" He felt a bit bad just ambushing the 'mons like this but hopefully Thea would handle the Timburr if needed. Perrin took off and then dove on the Pignite, attacking it a few times in a row. It shook off the attack -- luckily, Knight was prepared! "Alright Gideon, follow up with a headbutt." [break][break]
The Karrablast let out a cry of determination and charged at the Pignite. She landed her headbutt right on target, and the Pignite fell back, dazed. Kay let out a sigh or relief and tossed out one of his Poke balls.

Thea didn't know where to hide her face when she noticed the Machop was gone. Thankfully Knight wasn't the type to tease, and she couldn't be more grateful that her cousin wasn't going to poke her about it. "Y-Yeah, pretty neat—" She added a bit embarrassedly, going forward for the next duo of Pokémons they would find.[break][break]

The sight of a Pignite made Zeus huff and puff, oinking in a menacing way at it. But before he could even take any action, Knight followed with moves that allowed him for a capture, and Zeus crossed his arms.[break][break]

"Zeus, stop acting like a child. That wasn't your fight." Thea scolded, and Zeus huffed, oinking a couple more times before he was bonked by Gominha, that chirped at him annoyed. Thea shook her head, looking at Knight apologetically. "Sorry, he gets worked up near monkeys and pigs. I hope they will be friends though!" She said, looking at the Pokéball her cousin had with him.[break][break]

After glancing briefly at the Timburr, she waved her hand. "That was a beautiful boulder lift... You can go home though!" She called, not wishing to catch it.[break][break]

With a smile, Knight nodded at Zeus, "You can help him train, show him how to be strong like you!" Knight might have played favourites with Gominha but he adored all of Thea's 'mons.[break][break]
He stretched and then sighed, looking at his cousin, "Maybe we should call it a day there? We got some good Pokémon and I'm starting to get hungry." Was it nearly dinner time?[break][break]
Regardless, his stomach growled and Knight laughed at himself, "Yup, home time! I wonder what Cass got up to today too..." He mused as he turned to head home.[break][break]
And walked in the wrong direction.[break][break]

Zeus almost seemed to pout at Knight's words at first. Why he would want to train a pig?! But after a moment, he closed his eyes, tapping his foot and then eventually nodding looking at Knight, giving in. Thea smiled in approval to Zeus' change of heart, and then she looked at Knight.[break][break]

"Sounds like a good time to call it a day, yeah." She looked up at the sky. They were about to get into the late afternoon. "We need to introduce our new Pokémon to dad and to Cass too. I wonder what they will say!" She felt an excitement bubble in her chest.[break][break]

As she noticed Knight going to the wrong direction, Thea giggled fondly, gently taking her cousin's hand and tugging it softly. "It is the other way, Kay." She pointed at the right direction with her other hand before guiding her cousin out of the forest.[break][break]
