"You are going to open your mouth," she instructed him, cold and unfeeling as she gripped her chin in her hands, "and when this is over, you and I will never discuss this obscenely afflicted behavior again."[break][break]

She abruptly tipped his head back, the restrained man unable to protest her motion, and began to tilt the vial to pour the antidote down his throat -- curing him, willingly or unwillingly.[break][break]

"You're sick," she repeated, but her accusation held a hatefulness this time. "You're delusional. You don't know what you're saying."[break][break]

She would not accept any alternative truth.

she is afraid. she is a coward. she will run from this the same way she always does.

soft, low chuckles escape him as she grips his chin, propping his mouth ajar to pour the vial down his throat. he swallows, but his amusement never quite fades.

He seemed so much smaller and more insignificant the further away she stood from him, pathetic and immobile from his place on the table. She had no reason to fear a man like that.[break][break]

The dark humor of the situation returned to her, and the underboss allowed herself a sly, self-satisfied smile before she left the room.[break][break]
