NIKE effortlessly leaps from tree branch to branch. The speed and precision with which she travels almost make it look like she's flying. At one point, however, she stops.[break][break]

Reaching out with her paw, the LUCARIO senses something. An aura somewhere nearby. It isn't long before her trainer rejoins her fro the forest ground below. He can tell she's been alerted something, and looks around to find the source of it himself.[break][break]

Before too long, a GALARIAN YAMASK with unique archaeological markings comes gliding out from the depths of the forest. This is what Nike had sensed earlier. The WANDERING SPIRIT exudes the aura of a MEMENTO.[break][break]

When it spots the jackal, an EARTHQUAKE begins to rumble beneath their feet. Thankfully, the Lucario puts a swift end to it with a BONE RUSH. Afterward, Remiel crouches down beside the Galarian Yamask to inspect its mask before capturing it within the confines of a Luxury Ball.[break][break]

Something STAKES THEM OUT from the woods. Nike can sense its aura through the leaves, but Remiel cannot. The SNARL that hears could be coming from something much larger than it actually is.[break][break]

When it leaps out with a NIGHT SLASH, however, the Lucario is ready. She strikes the NICKIT down with a powerful DRAIN PUNCH in mid-air. When it hits the ground, it scrambles to get back up and flees with a yelp.[break][break]

The MIMIKYU catches Nike off guard with its darling BABY-DOLL EYES. This proves to be a good test of the Lucario's willpower. For a second there, Remiel even begins to think she will lose.[break][break]

Before the living doll can SHADOW CLAW her, however, Nike strikes first with a WATER PULSE. The Mimikyu is cast backward into a tree with a violent splash of water. When it staggers back up, its neck appears broken and it seems CONFUSED.[break][break]

Catching it within the confines of a Luxury Ball is easy enough afterward.[break][break]

A wild SEEDOT manages to SUCKER PUNCH Nike with a headbutt. The Lucario, however, withstands this blow. With a sharp glare, she raises her paw, spawns a bone in her grasp, and beats the Grass-type down with a BONE RUSH.[break][break]

Eventually, the Seedot gets whacked so hard that it goes flying upward into the branches. It doesn't come back down again, however. Remiel and Nike just assume it got stuck up there and move on.[break][break]

Watching a SHIELDON graze the fields of the Safari Zone is fascinating. Remiel can't help but observe it for a while as it does so. If he forgets everything else, it's almost like looking through a window into the past.[break][break]

However, when it catches sight of his Lucario, the little dinosaur puffs up with a big SWAGGER. It charges in for a HEADBUTT afterward, meeting a BONE RUSH instead of victory. Afterward, Remiel captures it within the confines of a Luxury Ball.[break][break]

The RIOLU attempts to strike his Lucario with a METAL CLAW but the attack is in vain. The pup doesn't have enough strength behind these attacks to keep up. Toppling its larger opponent down was not possible.[break][break]

Nike seems to realize this herself, though releases an exasperated sigh when the pup tries to knock her down again. Fed up, she whacks the smaller canine on the head with a BONE RUSH and knocks it unconscious. Remiel is quick to follow up with a capture afterward.[break][break]
