The juxtaposition of Melody's and Greyson's chamber was startling from up close. There was a peace to her's that, while similar to his own, was completely different.

Pulling from himself from completely gawking at the room, Greyson turns a small smile onto the woman across. The contrast between them was just as severe as the their rooms, and not for the first time, Greyson couldn't help but wonder the difference in skill between them.

He pushes that from his mind.

"Nice place." It was genuine. His thumb tabs idly against a pair of expanded Pokéball. "How you've been?" Idle chatter before the action.

Her room was extremely opposite of what one would expect from Melody's room to actually look like. Her career was based off of her vast and varied musical styles, her eccentric music videos, her ability to do a wide variety of genres. However, the eccentric diva's room were 4 sets of reflective waterfalls and white tiled floors. With a single white baby grand piano off towards the door. [break][break]

She walks forward in a simple white dress, her iconic pink hair tied up into it's signature ponytail to contain the sheer amount of hair on her head. "Greyson Connors, it's not every day I get a fellow elite 4 member visiting my chambers." she responds as she moves on to talk about the room. [break][break]

"yeah, some would think it doesn't really fit me but honestly they don't really know the real Melody." she says as she was sure he was part of the group of people who'd never understand her. Or would he? Only the upcoming battle would be able to reveal more of themselves to each other[break][break]

"You ready to get started?" she asks as she holds a pokeball in her hand "Are we going all out?"

Greyson's lips lift into an amused smile.

"All these challengers coming through my chamber makes me feel like I'm falling behind."

It was motivation he'd been sorely lacking as of late.

"Should we go all out? I typically reserve that kind-of thing for Team Rocket's best. You curious?"

As the eccentric diva smiles she leans forward and flips her hair over as she tries to shake it up and make it look poofier than it already is as she tries to psych herself up for a real performance. "If you hold back against me though, you might just find yourself drowning in my sound." as she then pulls out two pokeballs and sends out one of her iconic duos. Both of her toxtricities emerge onto the battle field as the diva takes center stage [break][break]

Two flashes of light reveal an Aerodacytl and Umbreon.

"Get ready."

Umbreon stars off with a butt-wagging TAUNT while the Fossil Pokémon's talons dig into the chamber, shooting across the chamber with superior AGILITY.

His mouth opens wide as a SUPERSONIC noises pierces only the most sensitive of hearing.

He starts off strong, trying to cut off melody's tempo and action economy right from the start. It was a good idea to limit her freedom as much as possible, however. [break][break]

"Now now greyson, using sound moves against me? You should know better." she asks him as her pokemon fall victim to the taunt but as the super sonic rings out and tries to confuse them, melody acts quickly. "Overdrive" she says as the PUNK ROCK AND PLUS/MINUS ACTIVATE[break][break]

Melody drowns out the sound of the super sonic by blasting her own music over the super sonic waves while arcs of electricity shoot over towards Greyson's side and Melody joins in by singing.

Electricity dances across slategrey scales, each one as strong as stone, and leaves them relatively unscathed. That is before the attack finds leathery wings.

Veins and muscles spasm within' the thin membranes, tightening muscles and blotching them a dark purple as the blood pools and stops from the electrical current.

Momentum carries the Fossil Pokémon forward still and he rips and gouges the ground beneath him. Sharpened STONE EDGES are sent hurtling against his opponents even as he continues his charge, toothy maw snapping open and shut in a threatening display.

On the other side of the field Umbreon releases a pulse of white light into the air above, and slightly behind, the Aerodactyl. It bursts like a firework, the CONFUSE RAY meant to surprise and disorient.

"Going to need more than that stop us!"

Melody was able to stop his auditory assault on her team, but a visual one was different. The fossil pokemon charged forward, slamming into the lowkey (blue/purple) form toxtricity with sharp jagged rocks and causing severe damage. [break][break]

Melody panics for a moment as her pokemon was hurt by the attack as a CONFUSE RAY bursts in the air and confuses her pokemon. "Will I? You never start the show with your best hits, then there's nothing for the finale of your show" she replies as Melody very much viewed her battles as her performances. [break][break]

The two toxic lizards try to reorient themselves during the battle, the low key toxtricity rushes forward towards the the AERODACTYLE and jumps into the air, his fist glowing orange as it tries to use DRAIN PUNCH to recover some of it's lost health. Meanwhile the AMPED toxtricity hangs back and gathers a ball of purple poison that it attempts to launch towards the UMBREON VIA SLUDGE BOMB [break][break]

If less than 33 the pokemon hit themselves instead.[break]
