The Safari zone was a dusty savanna in style this time.[break][break]

Tempest grumbled as the sun beat down on him, the starting of summer causing sweat to bead on the back of his neck. Tiamat was next to him, the shiny Milotic slithering on the hot ground like the serpent she was. Tempest sighed as he squinted out over the area.[break][break]

"They were probably too lazy to keep up a water show." Tempest muttered to his pokemon. Sighing, he shrugged and stepped away from the doors.

A sandstorm began to whip up when Tempest was far enough away from the doors. He spat out sand as it was suddenly throw in his face, narrowly avoiding the sting from the eyes. What the hell? That couldn't have been natural. Probably some trick that the Safari was using to added effect.[break][break]

It seemed like it wasn't doing much for the wildlife. A Fletchling, caught up in the artificial gale, ended up getting spun around and then flung to Tempest's feet.[break][break]

He and Tiamat shared a look before the serpent blasted a Dragon Breath at the pokemon. Tempest tossed a ball at the crispy-chicken-sandwich to be.

The sandstorm continued to whip and make Tempest squint as he moved forward. It was more annoying than whatever effect the zone was going for. His feet stomped on hard packed clay earth, cracks rippling across it from how dry it was.[break][break]

Out leaped a Meinfoo, who proceeded to try and Knock Off whatever Tiamet might have been holding. But, Tiamat was a snake and was not holding anything. All it served to do was piss the Milotic off. Always Competitive, she lunged forward to Close Combat slam against the fighting type.[break][break]

Tiamat did the snake equivalent of flexing from her powerful move while Tempest rolled his eyes and tossed one of his warden balls.

Tempest leans down to pick up the pokeball and finds a bunch of sand flung in his face. A Varoom flies by, speeding, before doing the Akira Slide to turn and face Tempest and Tiamat.[break][break]

Tempest sputtered and groaned. He sighed and turned to look at his pokemon, frowning.[break][break]

Tiamat nodded, understanding, before Close Combating all over that dumb bitch.

The Sandstorm whirled harder, making Tempest curse lightly under his breath. Sharp Spikes from something else in the Safari stuck to his shirt and pants, digging in. That would hurt if they dug much deeper.[break][break]

A Lileep clung resolutely to the ground, latched tight. Temp did perk up when he saw it; this is what he had even come in here for.[break][break]

"Tiamat! That's the one! We can leave after this!"[break][break]

A Dragon Breath leaves the Milotic instantly, burning blue flames through the storm. It scorches the Lileep, which Tempest quickly tosses a pokeball at.
