Who knew Skuntank could be so fast?

As the poison-type's momentum slowed due to running low on musk, Shalin at last had a chance to catch her breath, as did Sevastian from Schala matching their pace. By the time they had slowed to the pace they were at before the gout of flames, Mauville City's three levels of streets were visible in the near distance.

"Riding's a lot of fun, isn't it?" Shalin replied with a grin. "Wouldn't want to travel any other way across Hoenn unless I had to!" Cleaning off his shirt in the middle of travel was only possible with Schala helping him keep his balance.

"I do!" she answered. "Used to be called Hoenn's wildest Pokémon rider for a reason!" She still had that title, but her Captain title superseded it. "We're just about there now. Thanks for keeping me company!"

Taking out a notepad, he begins to write before taking in the view that tailed them.

‘Better left undocumented…’ he whispers as he takes in the view for a few more seconds before giving a curt nod to Shalin, sliding the unfilled notepad away.

“It was nice to see the city from a new perspective. Thanks for taking me out. “

Everyone had their preferences for getting around Hoenn. Some preferred to teleport from place to place. Others preferred vehicles of some kind. Pokémon were just one way to travel, and Hoenn could accommodate all of those methods of getting around. It was part of the region's beauty. "Of course, for particularly long distances, such as traveling from one corner of the region to the other, taking an air taxi might be a better option," she admitted, having made the trip from Dewford to Mossdeep once. Even on the back of Zuh, her Pidgeot, that was not a short flight!
