The relentless desert sun blazes down onto the vast desert. She takes a moment to admire how beautiful the rolling dunes looked in the sun's shimmering light.

Clad in loose fitted clothes which protected her from the harsh rays, Mimi finished securing her lightly colored keffiyeh around her face. She kneels down to open her backpack, ensuring that she had all her supplies. The last thing the group needed was to be stranded out in the desert with nothing; that'd be a death sentence.

"Also ready" She responds to her teammates, recognizing a few of them such as Noelani Kekoa and lucian flores. She smiles towards lucian flores remembering him from a brief encounter. "Nice to see you again" she waves happily towards him. Finally the beast emerges, a lone Sigilyph hovering over the party, its one eye looking down at them as if they were nothing but ants. A psychic force could be felt all throughout the surrounding area, exerting a push so strong that Noel could've easily been blown away if his footing hadn't been more secured.[break][break]

"My name's Mimi" She smiles as she introduces herself, her cheeks tinted with a soft blush. It meant a lot to work with Melody, hopefully she wouldn't mess up in front of her.

Conversations are cut short. They stood in the shadow of a colossal Sigilyph, it's giant body shimmering with iridescent hues. Mimi stood frozen, mesmerized by it's ethereal beauty. She's broken out of the trance when everyone begins to shout out commands. Shaking her head to focus - Mimi calls out her noivern from his pokeball.

Her noivern quickly takes to the air soon as it emerges from his pokeball. Hovering in the air the noivern's attention is directed towards Sigilyph's shimmering barrier. "Sora, use air-cutter!" Mimi's noivern responds with a affirmative roar, in a swift manner his wings beat rapidly. Creating razor sharp blades of wind, the attack is directed towards the barrier; each strike precise and relentless.

Their attacks seemed to merely scratch at the surface of the Sigilyph's body. The titan watches down from above, its eye, eternally staring, as if mocking the group of adventurers from its high horse. [break][break]

"What's this thing made out of... Wait... What's it doing?"[break][break]

Runes made out of thin air appear, encircling the psychic-type as if preparing for something. A hum could be heard by all, increasing in volume as time goes by while a glow radiates off its entire body. While Noel couldn't read what they meant, it was clear what it was about to do.[break][break]

"Take it down quick! It's about to fire something off!"[break][break]

His Scream Tail lets out a high-pitched Hyper Voice in an attempt to disrupt the incantation. With any luck, and with the help of their allies, they'd be able to defend from whatever was coming.

What in the world?! the sigiliyph was massive, she noticed Noel Parker struggling and had to compensate. He'd land his feet eventually right? Melody wasn't sure but she couldn't exactly hold out hope just yet and had to cover him "Don't falter! Keep going! Primarina!!" she orders as Primarina's boost from springtide storm kicks in as Melody orders her next attack "SPARKLING ARIA! smash that sigil!" she says as Melody notices an incantation was written on the wing. When four unite as one this sigiliyph will be undone? What the fuck kind of hocus pocus was that? [break][break]

Lucian was quite unsure on what the Sigilyph was doing. He scratched his head as the incantation on the wing suddenly caught his eye too, and he couldn't help but mutter, "Unite as one... what does that even mean? He quickly scans the battlefield as he sees his companions beside him and yells to his fellow trainers. Everyone we can do this! I think we just need to focus our attacks on one point! Sprigatito jump up and scratch the same spot that Primarina just hit!

With their combined efforts the barrier dissipates. But it was not time to celebrate just yet, Mimi’s eyebrows raise with concern as she notices the strange behavior from the titan. She wasn’t sure what the Sigilyph was planning but it couldn’t be good. Listening to her teammates Mimi also commanded her Noivern to strike at the wing. “Boomburst sora!” With a powerful thrust of its wings, a sonic wave is directed towards the sigilyph.
